You may remember our post earlier this week about Reese, the beautiful calico mama with all those colorful patches. Well, it looks like good looks and a sweet personality run in the family!

Meet Rosalie, Raya, and Raven!

These three extra-fluffy girls each have their own uniquely beautiful tabby coats, but they’ve definitely inherited their mama’s sweet temperament.

If you’ve been waiting for the right kitten because you want more than just a pretty face — you want a kitten with a personality you can get to know — don’t sleep on these girls!

This is how our mornings start here in the cat room at Royce’s Rescue! Most of our residents are ready and waiting to greet us, eager for their morning routine of pets, breakfast, playtime, and a few tasty treats. A few sleepyheads were still tucked into their cozy cubbies, clearly needing that five more minutes of blissful sleep.

Whether they’re first in line for breakfast or taking the slow-and-snuggly approach to mornings, every one of these sweet faces is special.

Meet Prince & Jammer, a bonded pair who’ve suffered a heartbreaking loss with the sudden death of their beloved person. Now they’re at Royce’s Rescue, overwhelmed by all the unfamiliar sights and sounds. Who could blame them for wanting to hide away in quiet cubbies?

These boys are scared but incredibly sweet. They’ve shown no aggression toward other cats or volunteers, and while they prefer cozy hiding spots, they’ll happily lean in for gentle cheek scratches.

They need a patient home where they can settle in at their own pace and learn they’re safe. With time and love, we believe they’ll blossom into wonderful companions.

These boys are definitely XL editions!
PRINCE: A magnificent, long-haired tabby weighing in at 20 pounds. Basically, a fluffy ottoman with whiskers!
JAMMER: A handsome black-and-gray short-haired tabby tipping the scales at 15 pounds.
That’s 35 pounds of precious, oversized love!

Both boys are fully vetted, vaccinated, neutered, and ready for adoption.
They’ve lost someone they loved. Now they need someone willing to give them patience, kindness, and the time to feel at home again.

Freckles, Jewel, and Dottie!

These three five-month-old kittens were caught during a TNR mission in Philadelphia and were headed back to the streets until a kind volunteer stepped in to save them. Thank goodness someone gave them a chance!

When they arrived at Royce’s Rescue, they were frightened little souls who weren’t sure humans could be trusted. With patience, love, and time in their foster home and our cat room, they’re learning that people can be pretty wonderful after all!

Freckles, Jewel, and Dottie need patient, cat-savvy families willing to let them blossom at their own pace. A friendly, confident resident cat would be a wonderful role model, too!

Sweet Dottie has overcome even more. A severe infection cost her one eye when she was just three months old, but she’s still learning to trust and deserves a family who sees how beautiful and special she is.

They may not be the kittens who rush into your arms right away. But imagine the joy of watching a frightened kitten learn to trust you, seek your affection, and finally feel safe. That kind of love is worth the effort
