I've decided to part ways with my last 2 light brahma hens. They are 3 years old and still laying great (brahmas generally dont start laying until 10-12 months). They lay heavily in the winter compared to many other breeds. Very tame/docile hens. Located in Reserve.

I've been quiet lately. We have been having a whole shebang of things going on around here. Lost my 2 female Sebastopols in the snowmagedon, lost Porkchop a short time later due to age, lost Meeko last week. Mentally preparing myself to say goodbye to Addie, she will be 14 in August and is going blind and deaf, cant hold her bladder, and is slowly getting doggy dementia. Welcomed another Corso to our home (in the annoying puppy stage) along with 3 New Zealands and 1 (appears to be standard Rex). Welcomed a few quail. Chicks hatching like crazy but due to slow sales decided to put up the incubators for a bit. Never finished my garden, all that was left to plant was squash and zucchini.... Started setting up my new little above ground pool to relax in. Had a 200+ pound bird cage collapse and fall on me. Been working on cleaning out my father-in-law's house and lots of legal estate stuff. Looking for a new, bigger, place to call home. Graduations. Farmer's Market issues. Health issues. Over stimulation on pretty much a daily basis. Depression and anxiety. Preparing to welcome my daughters 1st child as our 4th grandbaby. This is only a small portion and I think I'm just about done for 2025. 🤦‍♀️
