Marty & Sophia are all set up and ready at the community center today in Renton. 11-7 today and tomorrow 11-5pm!

🐾We also just launched our new flavor!!💛

🥜 Peanut Butter & Banana! 🍌

We also brought back the classics for today. S’mores , oatmeal cream pies, Parmesan pretzels and dipped bones! We also always have our freshly baked Turkey bacon cheddar or Blueberry Donuts!

🚨Mini will be euthanized Friday 7/25🚨

I was taken in immediately by Minis sweet smile. I saw her in her kennel looking so innocent with those little teeth out and I knew I had to fully meet her! She’s veryyyy treat motivated and walks phenomenal on a leash. She’s only one but I think she’s had a litter in her past!

Please be aware that all euth dogs need a hold by 1PM. If you want to help, please be proactive do not wait! If you’re interested in a pet and live out of state, I encourage you to reach out to your local rescues to see if they pull from Texas shelters.

🛑 Before you comment something unkind, please understand this:

I receive the euthanasia list from the shelter between 1–3PM, and the deadline to save the listed dogs is 1PM the following day. This timing is completely out of my control.

I am not the shelter and do not decide which animals are placed on the list or what their outcomes will be. I’m just a volunteer networking and advocating for at-risk dogs. The shelter is legally required to accept every animal brought to them regardless of breed, temperament, health, or circumstance. Because intake is so high and space is so limited, there is a daily euthanasia list.

I can’t take every dog home or hold any dog for anyone for any period of time, I already have several dogs and fosters in my care.

📌 Please contact BARC if you are local and can help! Neither BARC nor I can assist out of state adoption or foster offers. The shelter WILL NOT hold a dog for anyone out of state. You must physically go to the shelter to adopt.

DOG ADOPTIONS NEEDED ASAP!
Due to a recent large influx of dogs, our kennels are at capacity - so Metro Animal Services needs these awesome pups adopted as soon as possible!Their shelter serves 7 cities (Algona, Bonney Lake, Edgewood, Milton, Pacific, Puyallup and Sumner) so it is vital that they have kennels available to receive lost/stray dogs, abused or neglected dogs, and potentially dangerous dogs from these cities.

The shelter in located in Puyallup, WA, near the South Hill Mall. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

🚨‼️ BEING EUTHANIZED ON 7/23‼️‼️

He was “blue blasted” on 7/19 which gave him five days to live. He has been waiting for his owner to come back and get him. His owner was hospitalized. Little does he know, his owner is never coming back and in 1 day, little 3 year old, 48lb will take his last breath. Who’s going to tell him? 😢 He came in a month ago 6/21 as an unaltered dog. Within 24 hours of arriving to the shelter he was hu***ng a volunteer’s leg and an incident happened. THIS WAS A ONE TIME ISOLATED INCIDENT. The skin was not broken. Fast forward to a month later, he’s had no further incidents, he hasn’t been neutered. They didn’t put him in playgroups. There has been no enrichment. All he received from this shelter was a deadline. He has been sitting at the Medley shelter which is not open to the public. There is no air conditioning or fans in this section. He is sitting in a cement kennel in 100 degree weather thinking this is just temporary and soon he will be back in his home with his human. 💔The only thing I know about him regarding his temperament with other dogs is he has not reacted towards other dogs in their pens.
