🐾 A VERY WARM WELCOME TO MR. BODIE L! 🐾

This happy-go-lucky thirteen-month-old Terrier Mix arrived ready to see what daycare adventures were waiting for him! While he was a little unsure at first, it didn’t take long for his confidence to shine and his playful personality to take over!

Mr. Bodie cruised along on the treads at the gym like a seasoned pro and had a blast sampling all the toys, treats, and activities to find his favorites! During themed enrichment, we discovered that squeaky ducks were at the top of his list, along with exciting games of chase and plenty of opportunities to have fun with his handlers! 🙌✨

He also made a fantastic new friend in Mr. Tioga Tahoe (Hound Mix), who helped bring out his playful side with zoomies, adventures, and poolside exploring! 🦆💦

We loved getting to know this sweet boy and watching his confidence grow throughout the day. We hope you had an amazing visit, Mr. Bodie, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for more fun and adventures! 💜🐶

The final drew closer, and speed and control were put to the ultimate test! 🏃‍♂️⚽🐾

Our athletes took part in exciting sprint-and-recall challenges across the field, racing away before turning and returning with precision. While quick paws certainly helped, success wasn’t just about speed—it was about listening, responding, and staying focused under pressure!

With sharp turns, fast stops, and lightning-fast recalls, the athletes practiced the very skills needed for those intense, game-changing moments of the championship match. The road to the final was nearly complete! 🏆✨

To stay sharp for the investigation ahead, each athlete stepped away from the group for a special one-on-one recovery session focused on relaxation, trust, and connection. Through gentle massage, calm body handling, and slow soothing strokes, the athletes enjoyed some well-deserved downtime while practicing comfort with calm, controlled touch. 🐶✨

After all, solving a mystery takes teamwork, focus, and a little self-care along the way! 💜🔍

Remember that adopted dogs get a free induction from RWC!

Coffee Cake should have been adopted weeks ago.

At 16 weeks old and 20 pounds, this sweet Labrador/Shar Pei mix had application after application. Everyone fell in love with her. Then, during her pre-spay exam, her veterinarian heard a heart murmur.

We made the decision to pause her adoption and have her evaluated by a veterinary cardiologist. We wanted to be absolutely certain she was healthy before sending her home.

The wait was hard.

Several applicants promised they would wait for her. But while Coffee Cake waited patiently for answers, those applications disappeared.

Now Coffee Cake has been given a clean bill of health and is officially ready for adoption... but the applications are gone.

The good news is that the cardiologist found no congenital heart defects. Her echocardiogram was completely normal. She has what is called a harmless "flow murmur," which is common in puppies and is not expected to affect her health or longevity in any way.

In other words:
✨ Coffee Cake is healthy.
✨ Coffee Cake is active.
✨ Coffee Cake is ready to go home.

And what a puppy she is. Coffee Cake loves people. She adores cuddles, gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and children, and is crate trained, mostly potty trained, and already knows "come" and "sit." She's playful without being wild, affectionate without being clingy, and has been loved and cared for by Boxers & Buddies since the day she was born.

She's spent her whole life surrounded by love.Now she just needs a family to call her own.

🎂🎉 IT'S MS LULU'S BIRTHDAY! 🎂🎉

Today we're celebrating this beautiful lab pit mix, who just turned 2 years old! 🐾🥳 Ms Lulu and her brother Mr Rufus are two bright spots in our day and bring so much fun, love, and personality to RWC every time they walk through the door! Whether Ms Lulu is on a pack walk, hanging out with her best friends, or soaking up attention from the staff, she knows the secret to having a blast! 💜

Ms Lulu is a very playful pup and has become a beloved member of the RWC pack! We love watching her enjoy playgroup, handler attention, and all the adventures that come with daycare life. ✨

We hope your special day was filled with treats, belly rubs, toys, and everything else that makes your tail wag, Ms Lulu! Happy Birthday, and here's to another year of fun and friendship! 🐶🎈🎁
