I am one of the few, maybe only one, to work with Guardian dogs (bred to crush wolves) that are aggressive with humans. I will work with them and gain their respect and trust. I have had plenty of broken bones and crushed hands. To work with these magnificent ancient breed dogs, you have to leave ego behind and clear your mind. You can have fear; don't hide anything from them to gain their trust. There is an ancient instinct not to trust people; what smart dogs. I show them that a human can be a good leader. This takes time and patience. They all come around, then I can work with them and see who they are. Then, when they are ready, I find a proper home/job, and I drive them myself. I want to see where they go, set them up, and teach the new humans about their new guardian. It's all about the transition at this point. It just works this way.
