We know we don’t share cat adoption posts as often as we’d like! We try to avoid the added stress of picking up a kitty for a photo right before placing them in a carrier to head home. That’s why we absolutely LOVE getting updates from our adopters! 🧡

Recently, we received one of the sweetest updates!

An amazing family living on a houseboat 🛥️ opened their hearts to one of our FIV+ residents, **Russell! (newly named Lumpy)** 🧡 Lumpy was found outside after he was sadly left behind when his family moved away. 😢 Thankfully, this wonderful family gave him the second chance he deserved.

But their kindness didn’t stop there! They came back to find Lumpy a friend and ended up adopting **Buddy Boy**, another orange FIV+ lovebug! 🧡

Now these two sweet boys are living their best lives together in their floating home, surrounded by love. We couldn’t be happier for them!

**Please consider opening your heart to an FIV+ kitty.** These wonderful cats have so much love to give and can live long, happy, healthy lives. Sometimes, all they need is someone willing to give them a chance. 🧡

To this special family, thank you for giving not just one, but TWO of our boys such a beautiful life. Updates like these mean the world to us! 🧡
