As a cattery we do our best to understand every situation, but if we see things that turn out to feel like the safety of one of our kittens becomes compromised then, yes, we have the right to assess the situation. I will refund a deposit if you have a super good reason and it’s within a certain time as well. Most of the time otherwise we move the deposit to the next litter. We do have a contract that states this and I know I’ve posted about it but it has been awhile.
We do this because we not only are working hard to make sure you have an amazing new family member but we are trying to make sure your baby is healthy, happy, and prepared to go home with you. No offense plenty of other catteries are way more expensive than I am. Most deposits being $500 or more I’d like to keep mine low where they are at…. So please understand this isn’t easy none of this is easy, we experience life and death and our momma cats do their best but I AM making sure my mommas and their babies are striving and living everyday. IM THE ONE up all night helping if they are giving birth and if one is sick. So please we are humans too.
