Hi, old sport! I’m Gatsby, a 9-month-old, 20-pound bundle of joy with big dreams. Like the Gatsby in the book, I’m holding out hope for the greatest love story of all time… only mine doesn’t have fancy parties or fireworks. Just belly rubs, squeaky toys, and a forever family to call my own.

I came to Pets In Need from a partner shelter in the Central Valley, and now I’m in foster care, practicing my best tail wags and cuddle skills for the day we finally meet.

It’s Clear the Shelters time, when pets all over the country get a little extra help finding their happy endings. Pets In Need even has some special Clear the Shelters adoption days coming up on Friday August 22 - Sunday, August 24! I just know my perfect match is out there. In honor of this sacred holiday, we have one mission: CLEAR. THE. SHELTERS. Because cats don’t belong in kennels—they belong:

Hiya, friend! I’m Minnie Meow—a magical 10-week-old kitten ready to make your life the happiest place on Earth! 🎀✨

I may be tiny (just 2 pounds!), but don’t let my size fool you—this tabby princess is full of fun. I’m sweet, a little sassy, and always dressed to impress with my soft fur and fancy whiskers. I like to think of myself as part glam, part goofball… kind of like the feline version of a Disney starlet.

When I’m not posing in my signature mermaid stretch (my castle-ready look), I’m staging epic sneak attacks on feather toys, chasing invisible villains, or practicing my dramatic wiggle before a royal pounce.

We’re heartbroken to learn the news that our beloved friend .thegreat100 has crossed the rainbow bridge. Alex wasn’t just any bunny—he was larger than life, in every way. With his gentle spirit, undeniable star power, and signature snuggles, Alex brought smiles wherever he went. We were lucky to have him and his wonderful family join us at our Party Like an Animal last year, where he stole the show and so many hearts.

To know Alex was to love him—and we will miss him deeply. Hop in peace, sweet boy. You’ll always be part of the Pets In Need family.
