🐾 Meet the Team: Tess 🐾

Tell us a little about yourself!
Hi! I’m Tess, the new owner of 4 Paws Grooming. My journey in the pet care industry started as a doggy daycare attendant before I became a bather right here at 4 Paws. After about a year and a half of bathing, I began training as a groomer, and I’ve now been grooming for almost three years!

What’s your favorite part of grooming?
Helping nervous or fearful dogs learn that grooming isn’t so scary. There’s nothing more rewarding than earning a dog’s trust and watching them become more comfortable with every visit.

What’s your favorite breed to groom?
Standard Poodles! I especially love doing a classic Miami trim.

Favorite shampoo scent?
Lavender! I love how calming it is for both pets and people.

Tell us about your pets!
I have a 90-pound “Chihuahua” named Gnocchi (don’t worry, that’s a joke! 😂), along with three cats named Fettuccine, Linguine, and Gyoza.

What do you enjoy outside of work?
When I’m not at the salon, I teach aerial dance and perform with Live It Up Studio.

If you were a dog breed, what would you be?
A Miniature Pinscher—small, energetic, determined, and always on the move!

Do you have any tips for pet parents?
Keeping your pup on a regular grooming schedule and brushing them consistently at home makes a huge difference. It helps prevent mats, keeps their coat healthy, and makes every grooming appointment a more positive experience.
