Meet Gracie! 🐾💛 Our newest up-and-coming Adventure Daycare pup!

Before joining the Adventure Daycare pack, every pup goes through a screening process to make sure they’re ready for the fun. That includes two solo 30-minute walks, followed by a pack walk with one of our current Adventure Daycare pups. If that goes well, they get to try an Intro Day and see how they fit into the pack!

And Gracie’s first pack walk with our very own Barry? ⭐️ SUCCESS! ⭐️ These two did amazing together, and we couldn’t be more excited to see Gracie continue her journey toward becoming an Adventure Daycare dog! 🐶🥰

Adventure daycare is a little different around here 🐾

Instead of spending the day at a typical daycare facility with a big group of dogs, we keep things small and more personal.

We pick your dog up right from home, load up our small group, and head out for the day. 🚐 We spend time playing in a secure fenced-in area, then hit the trails for a 2-mile pack walk.

A big part of what makes our program different is that the dogs learn from each other. They learn how to move together, follow the group, respect boundaries, and take cues from the other dogs. We work with them as a pack while still giving each dog individual attention!

We also work on everyday things like pulling, jumping, listening, and desensitization to help build better habits.

It’s not just daycare. Your dog gets exercise, socialization, training, and a whole lot of fun.. all while learning how to be part of a group!

🐶 We love our friends Black River Veterinary Hospital who’ve been there for us with our last 4 dogs now. This will be Steve’s first appointment with them and they always roll out the red carpet. Steve is super excited to meet Dr. Vex for the first time! A huge shout out to the whole team from Kaitlyn at reception who always treats us like family to the owner Dr. Tack who built such a wonderful business!

🚨 New adventure daycare member incoming... 🐾

Everyone, meet Louie! 🤍

Today was Louie’s first adventure with the pack, and it couldn’t have gone better! While our crew has been together for months, they welcomed him like he’d always been part of the group. ❤️

We’re so lucky to have such an amazing group of dogs. It’s safe to say Louie is officially one of us now! 🐶

🥵☀️ Getting hot in here again so we’re back to our Heat Advisory Protocol! All cancellation fees are waived through tomorrow if you feel us coming is not necessary with the heat. All the pups that still need to get out were on potty breaks and indoor play only! Stay cool and safe friends! 🌡️🔥

Remember Pepper, one of the puppies we rescued in Puerto Rico? 🐶

These days, Pepper goes by Louie, and just look at him now! He’s living his best life with his two big sisters, Izzy and Skye, and we couldn’t be happier for him.

One of the best parts? Louie is also one of our clients, so we still get to see him! Alison even had a little sleepover with him last night, and it was the sweetest. They cuddled all night, Louie followed her around like a little shadow, and we’d like to think he remembered her from the day she rescued him. 🥹❤️

And one thing about Louie hasn’t changed… he still flops over for belly rubs the second you say hello. 🥹 If you swipe to the second slide, you’ll see he did the exact same thing the day we found him. Back then, he was covered in ticks and fleas, living on the streets and fighting just to survive. Even after everything he’d been through, all he wanted was a little love. 🫂

Now he’s healthy, happy, spoiled, and so incredibly loved. Stories like Louie’s are why rescue means so much to us. We love you, buddy! ❤️🐾
