We got married! Well, sorta...
Potential client reached out about having their dog attend and be in the wedding. Couldn't pass up such an opportunity. Of course we said, "yes!"
The couple was great and their dog was awesome. The day of the wedding was a little stressful and mainly my own fault. I entered the wrong address to the house and then panicked for a bit. The time I alloted was for getting to the house, dressing the dog for the wedding and heading out. I fumbling around for several minutes trying to find the correct address. Turns out I was 1 house away but across the streetđ
. Only 8 minutes wasted...
Arrive at the house, have a camera rolling to make a video collage of sorts. I'm always a little on edge when I meet a dog for the first time, in their environment without the owner. I let the dog out of its crate annnnd he runs out of the crate with a stressed bark and begins running around the house. Another wrench in the cogs. Luckily, it didnt take too long to win him over.
We got to the wedding with plenty of time. I had another moment of panic, thinking maybe im at the wrong venue as it was quiet. I reassured myself by asking one of the helpers if there was a wedding today. They said, "Yes." Phew. Shortly after some of the wedding guests and family members called me into the venue. Time to rest easy.
The wedding was beautiful. The bride and groom were amazing and got the wish of having their beloved pet in the wedding. While not costing an arm and leg like some of these attendant services. Can't knock 'em, though. We were happy in helping fulfill the couples request and that's what was important.
For those wondering/inquiring. We now offer wedding attendant services at a rate of $100 per hour + travel. Details will filter to the website when time permits.
