Can my dog eat bananas? Of course! Bananas are high in potassium and vitamins B6 and C, which makes them safe and healthy for dogs to consume. They are also filled with fiber and magnesium, which can alleviate gastrointestinal pain, and aids in bone growth by increasing protein and vitamin absorption. The peel is difficult to digest so it is best to avoid feeding them to your pups. It is always best to ask what foods are safe for dogs before feeding them anything.
