Help Hershey Get the Surgery He Desperately Needs 💔🐾
Meet Hershey—a loving, 1.5-year-old Labradoodle with a heart full of sweetness and a spirit that refuses to quit.
Hershey came to us from a breeder along with his three siblings when they weren’t able to be sold. We were happy to welcome them into our rescue, but soon after settling into his foster home, Hershey’s foster noticed something wasn’t quite right—he walked a little funny with his back legs.
We took Hershey to multiple veterinarians to get opinions, and the final diagnosis broke our hearts: Hershey has only about 10% of his hip joints left. He’s in need of double hip replacement surgery, which comes with a hefty price tag of $18,000.
Despite the pain he must feel, Hershey remains gentle, affectionate, and so full of love. He deserves to run, play, and live a full, pain-free life—and we’re determined to give him that chance.
We're currently seeking donations and grant support to cover the cost of his life-changing surgery. Every dollar brings us closer to helping Hershey live the life he deserves.

Thank you to the for awarding Rover Ranger Rescue a 2025 Emergency Medical Grant! We used the grant for our dear sweet Molly.
"Molly, We took her in to get spayed. They found out her stomach was enlarged. They ended up having to do emergency foreign body gastrostomy. We were not expecting the additional 956.88 cost. We were able to cover the surgery due to the Emergency grant from Petfinder. Thank you so much Petfinder!
Molly went on to get adopted a few weeks later to a wonderful family.
