Lil Foot has made it "out of the woods"! Thank you for everyone's prayers and donations! He's gonna be OK! Yay! ❤️🙏🐾

🚨 LITTLE FOOT HAS PARVO — PLEASE HELP US HELP THIS BABY! 🐾💔

We met sweet Little Foot last Friday at Devore Shelter as he was being turned in by the woman who found him. She told us she had already had him for approximately 7 days and generously offered to foster him for either the shelter or for our rescue. We opted to bring him under Angels n Paws Rescue and allow him to remain safely in her foster home.

Fast-forward to approximately day 10 after he was found, and Little Foot began showing signs of Parvo. 💔

He was immediately taken to our wonderful veterinarian, where he was admitted to the hospital for treatment. He is receiving the best care possible and is expected to remain hospitalized for at least three days while they fight to get this little guy through Parvo. 🙏🐾

We definitely weren’t expecting to take on a Parvo puppy — or the significant veterinary expense that comes with it — but we couldn’t just let him die.

My husband and I already personally fund the care of approximately 25 animals, including their food, veterinary care and everyday needs. This unexpected hospitalization is simply an expense we weren’t prepared for, so we’re asking our rescue family for a little help.

If you can donate even a few dollars toward Little Foot’s hospital bill, it WILL make a difference. Nothing is too small — it all adds up. ❤️

🐾❤️ DOUBLE THE LOVE — BALTO JUNIOR & HIS MAMA STARLA NEED A FOREVER HOME! ❤️🐾

Some dogs deserve a second chance. Balto Junior and his mama, Starla, deserve one together.

Approximately 1½ years after being rescued by another rescue group, this mother-and-son duo sadly found themselves back at Devore Animal Shelter. They are now safe with Angels n Paws Rescue and ready to finally find the loving, permanent home they deserve.

• Approx. 2 years old
• Husky mix
• Approx. 35–40 lbs — he’s a little guy!
• Neutered
• Up-to-date on vaccines

• Needs patience and time to decompress and build trust

After everything these two have been through, our greatest wish would be to see Balto Junior and Starla adopted together. They’ve already lost their home once, and we’d love nothing more than for them to walk into their new forever home side by side.

Balto Junior can be cautious with new people and doesn’t give his trust away easily. He will need a patient family willing to give him the time and space he needs to decompress and feel safe. Starla, on the other hand, is an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone she meets. Having his mama by his side may also help Balto Junior feel more secure as he adjusts to his new family.

🐾 MEET SWEET LIL MISS TARA! 🐾

This tiny little lovebug is Tara, an approximately 4–5 lb Papillon/Long-Haired Chihuahua mix, and she is an absolute sweetheart! 💕

Tara loves everyone she meets! Because she is such a tiny little girl, children in her forever home should be 7 years and older. She also loves other dogs her size and enjoys playing with her toys. But her favorite place is right where you’d expect: on her person’s lap getting belly rubs! ❤️

Located in Southern California! 🐾

These pups have grown up together and have spent most of their young lives as part of a pack. Now they need the opportunity to shine as individuals. ❤️

Each pup needs their OWN foster home where they can receive the one-on-one attention, care and guidance that is so difficult to provide in a rescue environment with multiple dogs.

They need help learning:

🏡 Basic home etiquette & manners
🐾 Potty-training routines
🦮 Leash skills
❤️ One-on-one bonding with their humans
🐶 Confidence and independence away from their siblings
🛋️ What it means to simply live inside a home and be part of a family

You do NOT need to be a professional trainer. We’re looking for patient, loving people willing to give one pup some structure, consistency and individual attention.

Fostering is one of the greatest gifts you can give a rescue dog. You aren’t just giving them a temporary place to stay—you are helping prepare them for the forever home they’ve been waiting for.
