🐾💕 Meet this adorable bunch of purrfect little personalities! 💕🐾

This sweet litter is approximately 14 weeks old and officially ready to find their forever families! 😻 They are absolutely adorable, full of personality, and ready to bring lots of love, laughter, and kitten craziness into your life!

Their beautiful mama, Sera, is also still waiting patiently for her forever home. ❤️

You can meet some of these cuties in the adoption window at the Apex PetSmart, or if you’d like a more personal introduction, simply submit an adoption application to schedule a meet & greet.

🏡 We would LOVE to see these kittens adopted into homes with another young, playful cat—or adopted in pairs! Kittens truly thrive with a feline friend, and as we always say… two kittens are twice the fun! 🐱🐱💕

Introducing more adorable kittens now ready for adoption. Most of these had been with us since they were wee little babies and are thriving and ready for forever homes of their own. 🌱 Meet Turnip — Our Last Little Guy Looking for His Forever Family! 💚🐾

How is this incredible boy STILL waiting for his family?! Turnip is the last of his litter to find his forever home, and we’re convinced his person is out there just waiting to discover what a fun, vivacious, endlessly entertaining little guy he is!

Turnip is all boy and keeps his foster mom on her toes — and laughing — every single day! 😂 He’s curious, adventurous, playful, and always ready to investigate whatever is happening around him.

💦 Recently, he discovered his love of playing in water… because apparently being a kitten wasn’t entertaining enough without adding a little splash to the mix!

📦 A new box? MUST investigate.

🏃‍♂️ A little household chaos? No problem — Turnip was raised by two rambunctious boys and is completely unfazed!

Meet Athena!!🐈

Let’s introduce our two best boys, Rocket & Drax once again.
These bonded brothers have been with us since they were little kittens, and how they’ve not been adopted is something that we simply don’t understand.

Rocket is the cutest buff orange boy! No matter how old he gets, he will always be the baby of the family. He wants to be wherever his people are. If he can't find you, he will cry. It is imperative he stays with you to ensure you have a constant source of joy and happiness at all times. He may not be the brightest boy (he is classic "orange") but this fuzzy kitty has the biggest heart! He is always happy, and his favorite spot is curled up in your lap. His foster Dad works from home, and Rocket is a frequent guest on Dad's daily Zoom calls of which he is the star. Rocket adores his brother, Drax. He looks to him to show him the ropes. If these two boys aren't with you, they are cuddled up together. Sometimes, they are cuddled on top of each other on your lap! If you are looking for a pair of bonded brothers who are extremely affectionate, this is the pair for you!

Drax is absolutely stunning! He has the softest, silkiest coat. He has the perfect energy level. He loves to run and play, but he is also perfectly happy to sit and chill. Drax wants to be where you are at all times! He does a fantastic job supervising while you get ready for the day. When it is time to relax at night and watch tv, Drax will make biscuits in your lap. Drax loves his brother Rocket almost as much as his people! If these two boys aren't with you, they are cuddled up together. Sometimes, they are cuddled on top of each other on your lap! Drax is the brains of the bunch... Rocket is very much "an orange." If you are looking for a pair of bonded brothers who are extremely affectionate, this is the pair for you!

Mama Cass (Cassiopeia) came to us with her adorable litter of little creamsicle kittens, and she was everything you could hope for in a mama. Though she was still young herself, she devoted every moment to making sure her babies were clean, safe, and loved.

Cass can be a little shy when she first notices people from across the room, and we suspect she may have some vision limitations. But once you’re close, you’ll discover her true personality—a sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention and happily curls up at your feet when it’s bedtime.

Now that her kittens have grown, it’s Mama Cass’s turn to be spoiled. She’s ready for a patient, loving home where she can finally be someone’s baby. Could that be with you? ❤️

Meet the Veggie Litter! 🌱

When these adorable babies first arrived in foster care, they were tiny little sprouts, so they were given vegetable-inspired names. But as they’ve grown, their foster mom jokes they really should have been called the Bakery Litter instead!

Why? Because these sweethearts are professional biscuit makers! Whether they’re kneading a cozy blanket, your lap, or each other, their little paws are almost always busy making biscuits while their tiny motors purr away. They absolutely adore people and are the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. One minute they’re racing through the house chasing toys, and the next they’re curled up in your lap, soaking up all the love and attention they can get.

If you’re looking for a kitten who will fill your home with laughter, snuggles, and endless entertainment, one of these precious babies could be the perfect match. Just be warned, just like opening a box of warm cookies, it’s incredibly hard to stop at just one!

This post from another local rescue speaks for every rescue and shelter in our community.

We are overwhelmed. There are simply more abandoned, stray, and homeless cats and kittens than we can keep up with, and the situation is truly heartbreaking.

Please take a moment to read and share their message. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, adopting, volunteering, or donating, now is the time. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, makes a difference.

Be the somebody who helps change the story for a homeless cat or kitten. ❤️

The situation is dire!

So many cats and kittens are in danger of losing their lives, healthy beautiful kitties just because there is no where for them to go. Shelters are closing their doors because they are full, rescues are overwhelmed and have no more foster space, and responsible people have no options for help.

From our director, the person who has to say, "We have no room to take cats and I don't know what to tell you to do".
"I cannot even begin to tell you all that is happening and how truly horrible and heart wrenching things are right now for cats and kittens everywhere. We are getting over a hundred calls, emails, texts, and messages a week from people begging, literally crying and asking us to help - to take beautiful cats and kittens, to help, to offer anything we can. It's excruciating to hear. These are good people who stepped up and have tried to save lives but don't have the time, the knowledge, the resources, or the ability needed."
We're getting calls from all over North Carolina and neighboring states. The situation is the same everywhere.
Sadly there is no foster space. We can only take as many cats and kittens as we have foster space for them.

What you can do:
- If you are thinking of adopting now is the time. For every cat adopted another can be saved.
- If you haven't thought of adopting, think about it. You would be saving lives.
- If you are wanting to help your community and care for animals, volunteer.
- Fosters are always needed but volunteers are need in other capacities also.
- Even if just for the summer you can help.
- Donate. Funds and supplies are needed to support the kitties. Purr Partners receives no government funding. Everything comes from donations.
- If you are a company or organization that can help with sponsorship let us know.
- Spread the word. Let others know how dire the situation is. Encourage everyone to do something as they are able.
- Educate. Support Trap Vaccinate Neuter and Return. TVNR. It's the only thing that works to address the cat overpopulation problem.

We know you care. You follow our page. Be that someone that does something.
