We're Sit.Stay.Trips.
Barb and John, retired travellers who pet sit. We started traveling extensively after we both retired 7 years ago. We have traveled throughout Europe and the USA.
We aren't your typical tourists. We leverage pet sitting to explore new cultures and breathtaking locations for days, weeks or even months, all while significantly reducing our accommodation costs.
Pet sitting has connected us with amazing pet owners and their pets in some incredible locations. Our love for animals ensures they receive top-notch care and a comfortable, stay at home experience while their owners are away.

Meet the trio running the show in Charlotte: Woopie, Rascal, and Poppy.

This sibling squad has a dynamic all its own. Woopie is the ultimate social butterfly, never turning down a good ear scratch, while Poppy—the lone lady of the group—is a total love bug. Then there’s Rascal; he’s a bit shy, but there’s no greater compliment than when he finally decides to curl up right next to you.

John and I are spending the week living like locals in one of the city’s most beautiful downtown neighborhoods. Between pet cuddles, we’ve been out exploring Charlotte’s unique hangouts and growing more fond of the "Queen City" by the day. That’s the magic of pet sitting: we get to experience a new city through a homey lens, and their parents get to travel with total peace of mind knowing the gang is loved and cared for right where they're most comfortable.

We just finished a great pet sit in Raleigh NC!

Wesley was a wonderful companion. Over our 5 day sit we played, napped and got plenty of snuggles!

Raleigh is a beautiful city and we stayed right downtown in the heart of Raleigh. We had a highrise view of the city which included amazing sunsets. The joy pet sitting has given us is immeasurable. The memories will last a lifetime.
