Today, we remember and honor a very special member of our Radford Animal Hospital family, Donald Hamilton, who passed away at the age of 95. ❤️

For more than 20 years, Mr. Hamilton was a cherished part of our family. Over the years, we had the privilege of getting to know him, sharing countless conversations and memories, and caring for his beloved Boomer and the pets who came before him. We loved seeing them walk through our doors together, and were heartbroken to say goodbye to Boomer just four months before Mr. Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton was a proud veteran and a man of deep faith. His church and his faith community were a very important part of his life, and he was blessed to be surrounded by so many people who loved and cared for him.

To his family and loved ones, we extend our deepest condolences. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of his life for so many years. It was truly an honor.

Rest peacefully, Mr. Hamilton. You will be deeply missed, but we know you and Boomer are together again. ❤️🐾🇺🇸

There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some dogs only need a bath every few months, while others may benefit from more frequent bathing depending on their breed, coat type, activity level, and skin health.
