MUTTS MONSTER MASH
HAS A NEW DATE! 🧡💚🩷

Due to the weather forecast, we’ve made the difficult decision to RESCHEDULE Mutts Monster Mash to:

SAT. OCTOBER 31ST 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM

We know this isn’t the change anyone was hoping for, but we’re crossing our fingers that Halloween night might actually make this event even MORE fun!

By Halloween, everyone will already be out and about in their costumes, trick-or-treating and enjoying the spooky season — so why not bring your pup along and make a night of it?!

And if you don’t have kids but still want somewhere fun to go on Halloween, this is for YOU! Dress up, bring your dog, play games, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate Halloween with the community!

👻 Costumes encouraged — for humans AND dogs!
🎟️ Games • Prizes • Raffles • Vendors • Food • Fun & MORE!

Most importantly, the event proceeds will still benefit the Friends of the City of Quitman Animal Shelter!

We know changing the date isn’t ideal, and we truly appreciate everyone who has supported this event so far. We’re really hoping our community will come together and help us make the new date just as special — or even BETTER!

We’re asking our amazing community to PLEASE SHARE this post and help us spread the word! We’ve had to make this change because of the weather, and we want to give this event the best chance possible on its new date.

Save the new date! We hope you’ll come celebrate Halloween with us!

Happy 4th of July! ❤️🤍💙

Remember to take extra safety precautions for your fur-babies tonight. Sadly, the 4th of July is one of the busiest days of the year for lost pets due to fireworks.

Here are a few ways to help keep them safe:
🐾 Keep pets indoors before dark.
🐾 Make sure collars fit properly and ID tags are up to date.
🐾 Double-check gates, doors, and fences.
🐾 Turn on the TV, a fan, or calming music to help drown out fireworks.
🐾 Give them a cozy place to hide if they’re feeling anxious.
🐾 Never bring nervous pets to fireworks displays.

Let’s keep our furry family members safe so everyone can enjoy the holiday together. ❤️

Wishing you and your pups a fun, safe, and happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

P.S. How cute are these patriotic pups? ❤️🐶💙 We’d love to see your furry friends celebrating the holiday too—share a photo in the comments!
