Investigators are working to find out how a 35-year-old Brooks County mother died, after her children were attacked by dogs. Her body was discovered in her yard, after her children were taken to a hospital. WALB NEWS TEN’s Brittanye Blake reports on the latest in that investigation.

MEET RUFUS ❤️

Rufus is now our shelter’s current longest resident.
This spunky, rambunctious, SWEET, loving boy is approximately 8 years old. He spent most of his life hooked to a chain in the yard. Since being at the shelter, he has really opened up! Rufus is so silly and goofy- he will be sure to make you smile.

A huge thank you to the City of Quitman, Cindy Moon Norton and Brian Norton, Carl Thomas, Martez Gray and the best mama to our furbabies Courtney Michelle at Quitman Paws and Play Animal Shelter! We have more playgroup space for our furbabies to play and be comfy while they wait for their furever homes..
Our shelter is a fun and awesome place to come visit! No sadness all smiles and playfulness..

❗️ URGENT ❗️

Tater is in desperate need of a foster so he can heal.
Tater is the SWEETEST and most relaxed baby. There was an accident resulting in Tater’s fibula being broken, along with a major wound to his ear.

It is best if he does not go back to the shelter so he can heal the best way possible.
