Fox Pointe Farm Summer Camps Fox Pointe Farm Riding Camp offers (3) one week-long sessions for girls ages 12 to 17 who are seeking an accelerated week of riding instruction.

Week-Long Equitation Camp for Girls

This program is for junior ridersin who wish to improve their skills, strength, confidence and riding foundation. Each day is structured around riding and learning about barn management and horse care. Students ride twice daily in ability-based groups and practice their teamwork skills as they clean stalls, water, feed and turn out the horses. Additional educ

ational opportunities are provided through mini-clinics that are built into their schedule and teach students important horsemanship skills that they can put into practice at the farm. We incorporate local and on-site activities such as swimming and going out to lunch. We often spend our evenings together watching a movie or sitting by the campfire. Coach/Trainer- Colleen R Seely

*Fees are $1050. per session (meals and lodging included). Sessions may be reserved with a non-refundable $100 deposit which is applied toward the full program fee balance.

Fox Pointe Farm Summer Riding Camp 2025

Does your daughter want to live at the barn, can't get enough of all things horse? Wants to spend hours in the saddle ?

If YES than this is the camp for her !

One week-long sleepaway camp for girls who are seeking an accelerated week of riding instruction. Students receive close personal attention in a small group setting as each camp session is limited to 8 participants.

Students may bring their own horse or enjoy our farm-owned horses or ponies. Each rider will attend two riding lessons daily, as well as one session of on-the-ground horsemanship and barn management. Instruction takes place in one of our two spacious arenas.

Enjoy the new friendships with other horse loving girls and cozy evenings watching movies or enjoying campfires and games. We have hosted successful summer camp programs at Fox Pointe Farm since 2005.

Coach Colleen Seely has been teaching since 1999, has a BA in Education and Science, USHJA Certified Instructor and show coaching at numerous shows each season.

Spend three-days and two nights at Fox Pointe Farm this Thanksgiving Break. Enjoy hours at the barn and lots of saddle time! Days are filled with riding lessons, grooming and pampering the horses, helping with the feeding and horse care.

Lessons by coach Colleen Seely. Colleen has been developing horses and riders to success at her Fox Pointe Farm since 2005. She has a BA in Education, teaching since 1999 and coaching FPF Interscholastic Equestrian Association Team since 2008, and brings many events and clinics to the community. Lessons are taught in small groups atmosphere on a variety of horses and ponies. Learn and improve your skills, put into practice fundamental tools needed to be an effective and competent rider. In addition to riding riders will help with a wide variety of topics including show clipping, course design, as well as horse care and management will be covered.

Drop-off is between 4:00 m on Friday and pick-up is on Sunday at 6pm.

Fees are $375.
$100 non-refundable deposit

Our Story

Fox Pointe Farm Riding Camp offers (3) one week-long sessions for girls ages 12 to 17 who are seeking an accelerated week of riding instruction. Riders interested our program should submit a brief video to demonstrate rider proficiency. Students receive close personal attention in a small group setting as each camp session is limited to 8 participants. Students may bring their own horse or enjoy our farm-owned horses or ponies. Each rider will attend two riding lessons daily, as well as one session of on-the-ground horsemanship and barn management. Instruction takes place in one of our two spacious arenas. Riders may have the opportunity to participate in a VHSA on-site horse show, although there are additional fees to showing. In addition, we will visit local horse shows or events and enjoy some fun local activities such as going to a drive-in theater, hiking at York River State Park and swimming at Jamestown Beach. Come for a week of a fun and meaningful overnight camp experience where your riding skills will grow exponentially and you will meet new friends!
