Pig pig,Moochie and Bob bon wish everyone a very good night from the whole gang. Sleep well, we love you all and we will be back in the morning. They’ve definitely made them quite the comfortable spot? don’t you think?? 😝

Happy September everyone!
Winter is coming fast and I’m reaching out.

I hate having to ask, but donations have been really slow for a long time now and I’m trying to keep my head above water for the animals.

The reality right now:
Outstanding vet bills: several hundred dollars
Tractor Supply card: over $6,000 from feed and supplies
Winter prep: straw for bedding for ALL the animals + hay for them to eat
Feed run needed again in less than a week

Just because Amy’s Acres is a small sanctuary without a massive following doesn’t mean the need is any less. The bills are still real. The feed is still needed. The animals still depend on me every single day.

I’m even getting calls about another pig who may need rescuing soon, but I can’t take on anymore right now. I keep taking on more and making spots but I can’t continue. Not without sponsors or donations for the ones I already have. I’m barely treading as it is — and that’s with my full-time job paying for everything.

I will never stop showing up for them. But I can’t do it alone.

She said it again. Louder. With her whole face in mine.
Maybe I shouldn’t have slept on the sofa last night lol. This was actually while we were cuddling after I fed. 😆

Now I’m almost out the door for work.
