Monday I had surgery. Tuesday I went home. Today? I'm genuinely so grateful I can move about! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Sure, I still have to be mindful of my body's limitations... I can't do all the things yet. I can walk downstairs to visit my garden and my craft room. That alone feels like a win.

Having my dogs by my side has honestly been one of the most healing parts of this journey. At first they were very weirded out by the cane and walker... but 1 day later? They've figured out it just means Mommy needs her space. ๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

Crafting will happen when the energy shows up. No pressure, no production mode. Today it's a bumblebee snuffle mat until I need my rest. ๐Ÿ

The shop will remain closed and the reopening has been extended to August 1st. Thank you all so much for your patience and support while I heal! ๐Ÿ’›.

Surgery prep looks a bit different in my house. One of my concerns is my garden. The other one... my dogs.
I have 3 days to get everything done before my hysterectomy. Then it's mandatory I rest and recover.

๐—ช๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป?
My shop is closed June 1 to July 13. Last day of orders is this Saturday. Everything will be prepped and packaged for my family to drop off at the post office.

With Dog Dad, my human babies, and my amazing canine community, I know I'll be just fine. Koda and Bear Bear? Not so much. They'll have to sleep in the craft room for a while until Mommy recovers. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿพ

At a networking group for dog-inspired businesses, I met a girl after my own heart... a seamstress who loves pretty fabrics and has a passion for pups that might even rival mine. Oh, and she's a husky mom. So yeah, we instantly connected.

When she set up at the Puyallup Night Market, I had to show my support. I picked up these two ADORABLE patchwork scrunchie bandanas and got to meet her sweet pup Apollo.

Apollo is a bit... "broken." Calm. Well-mannered. Basically the complete opposite of my lunatics.

Meanwhile, I got barked at for not handing over the cheese fast enough. I had to corner Koda and Bear Bear just to get the bandanas on them. They were way more interested in playing bitey face and tearing around the yard than sitting pretty for pictures. Classic.

But here's the thing... crafting for canines isn't about doing all the things. She has her own style, just like I do. We're similar in so many ways but beautifully different in others. What matters most is that we're both out here doing the same thing: giving pup parents a little happiness by making their dogs look absolutely adorable.

Sometimes you just have to put the small business hat down. Close the laptop. Step away from it all and jjust be. Today I got to spend time with two women I absolutely adore. and .paradise.tacoma

What started as a little retail therapy at a nursery turned into an evening supporting vendor friends at the Puyallup Night Market. Somewhere in between all of that we just talked. About life. Family. The frustrations that wear you down and the little joys that fill you back up.

No agenda. No strategy. Just real conversation with real people who get it. Girlfriends are hard to come by. Great girlfriends are priceless. ๐Ÿ’›

Thank you both for always showing up โ€” especially when I need it most. Days like today are exactly the kind of recharge that no productivity hack or planning session can replace.

Here's to the women who remind you that you're more than your hustle. ๐Ÿฅ‚

I have been smiling since yesterday, and I don't think it's going to stop anytime soon. ๐Ÿฅน

Setting up our booth was such a full circle moment for Canine Crazies. Getting to bring my handmade doggie goodness out into the community and meet the actual dogs and humans who make all of this worth it... there are no words. Well actually there are a lot of words because look at these FACES!

Thank you to every pup, every human, and to Petpalooza for creating a space where pet lovers get to just... be together. I am so grateful to be a part of your wonderful community canine loving friends. โ™ฅ

Booth #134 is OPEN and we are already living our best life at Petpalooza! The sun decided to show up today. I hope it stays that way. Regardless these doggos are sooo cute in their rain gear. โ˜€๏ธ

It's easy to find me as i'm right by Canine Stars. The music is jammin. Free entertainment while I sell handmade goodies? Yes please. This is the life.

Oct 2024. That was the last time I was a vendor at an in-person event. I'm happy to report Canine Crazies is BACK. I'm so excited to be at Auburn's Petpalooza tomorrow! ๐ŸŽ‰

The bins are packed, the hitch is loaded, the white picket fence check out stand is coming, and yes... that is absolutely a dog house strapped to the back of my car. This is what "I've been meaning to get back out there" looks like. Extra? Absolutely. ๐Ÿ˜†

I have missed my canine community so much. Selling online is amazing, but it will never replace watching a dog get excited over a new dog rope... or the conversations with dog parents who just GET IT. I am so ready to reconnect with the humans and the dogs that inspire everything I make.

As a reseller for every treat I stock is one I feel genuinely good about. Echo Barkery is a non-profit whose mission is creating meaningful employment for people with disabilities. These treats aren't just good for your dog... they're good, period.

I'm such a visual planner that I had to set up my full booth display right here in my craft room. It helps me see exactly where I need to fill in the gaps... and let me tell you, collars and accessories? I'm good. Dog toys? I have some serious crafting to do! ๐Ÿ˜…

โ™ฅ๏ธ Happy Valentine's Day โ™ฅ๏ธ

Tonight I had the absolute privilege of serving the a fully romantic, dogโ€‘friendly threeโ€‘course spaghetti dinner. I even shared the recipe over in my group, Canine Crazies in the Den, because of course I did.

A single rose. Candlelight. A cozy fire. I went allโ€‘in โ€” and it was so worth it for these two. Koda girl showed up looking gorgeous in her flower collar, while Bear Bear rocked his bow like the gentleman he believes he is. Dogs deserve date nights too.

And the best part? Cuddle time while we watch Lady and the Tramp together.

Thank you, my sweet pups, for loving me as fiercely as I adore the both of you. ๐Ÿฅฐ
