Oklahoma Horseshoeing School was founded on May 03, 1973 by Dr. Jacob "Jack" Roth, with the goal to equip students with the skills they will need in the ever-expanding Equine Industry.

🎓 Today we’re proud to congratulate six new graduates from Oklahoma Horseshoeing School.

They’ve spent the last weeks working hard, learning the craft, and pushing themselves every day — and it shows. Each one of them earned this through focus, grit, and plenty of time under a horse.

We’re proud to send them out into the world as trained farriers, and we can’t wait to see what they do next.

A permanent tribute to a lasting legacy.
The new statue of Dr. Jacob “Jack” B. Roth, DVM — founder of Oklahoma Horseshoeing School — now stands on campus as a reminder of the vision, grit, and heart that built OHS from the ground up.

Plaque reads:

Thank you all for your patience! 🙏
We’re currently in the process of rewiring the entire shoeing barn, which means we've had to scale back on scheduling horses while our electricians work their magic. ⚡🐴
We know it’s been a bit of a wait, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we make these much-needed upgrades to better serve our students and horses in the long run. We’ll be back to full speed just as soon as it’s safe to do so!
