🐼 Meet Panda Bear—he comes with his own Halloween costume! 🐼

This affectionate, gentle, social boy loves hanging out with his person. When he’s not nearby, you might find him playing with his favorite toys—He’s a tug-of-war champ!

Panda Bear can be a little timid at first, but cheek pets are the way to his heart. He gets along with relaxed cats and enjoys following the bigger kitties around.

Ready to add a little panda to your family? Apply to adopt through Ten Lives Cat Rescue: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/

Panda Bear and his friends have a little Halloween wish… and with more than 130 cats in our care, we could really use your help making it come true! 🐈‍⬛

Our biggest need right now is WET CAT FOOD! Feeding this many hungry mouths takes a LOT of food, and our supplies need replenishing. Every can, every case, every donation makes a difference!

🐱 Wet adult cat food for our grown-up ghouls
🍬 Cat treats for a little something extra
🧶 Toys for some Halloween fun

We love a good trick-or-treat, but there are no tricks here. Just 130+ hungry cats hoping their humans will come through with the goods! 👻

Meet Dottie-Jo!

You may remember Quesito, the tiny kitten we shared last week who sadly crossed the rainbow bridge. Now, we’d like you to meet his sister, Dottie-Jo, who was brought to our longtime community cat advocate Jolanta (who you met in yesterday’s Q&A!) mid-week last week.

Thankfully, Dottie-Jo was in MUCH better shape than her brother, but she developed a very strange, pus-filled lump next to her eye that had us worried. After losing Quesito so quickly, we weren’t taking any chances with his sister!

Our wonderful friends at Scruffy Paws were able to see Dottie-Jo on Friday, and thankfully, we got some reassuring news. There was no need to panic just yet! Some medication should help get this little girl back on track.

Her energy has been great, she’s eating well, and she’s already getting lots of TLC from Jolanta while she recovers. We’re so grateful to Jolanta for nursing Dottie-Jo back to health while we work on finding her a permanent foster placement.

We’re heartbroken that we couldn’t save Quesito, but we’re hopeful for his sister. For now, we’re focused on helping Dottie-Jo grow stronger, feel better, and get the chance she deserves.
