Our mission is to protect and advocate for animals in need, strengthen the human-animal bond and bring large breeds back to the small farmers of Prosperity and surrounding areas. Our main goal is to provide a short to long term home for animals in need. We have a five-acre, fenced in property where the dogs can roam freely. We do not believe in keeping each animal in individual kennels and locking

them up throughout the day, so all dogs have full rein of the home and outdoors as they please. While we do have individual kennels and separate enclosures, they are only used to separate aggressive behaviors, in order for our safety and the safety of themselves and other animals. Other animals on the property include birds, reptiles, and pigs; we will also be adding chickens and cows in the near future. These animals are here not only to sustain this small farm, but to give these dogs a job to do (protecting and guarding the herd) in order to get them to the right farmer out there. While we would love to keep each and every dog with us forever, we are looking for families and farmers who have a need for these amazing beasts! We want to bring back large breeds to guarding small farms and animal pens. Take a look and see what we are all about! Looking to adopt the perfect livestock guard dog, look no further. Goliath has officially touched down at Villa La Beast!He’s already fitting in nicely and getting acquainted with everybody. Safe to say, his last day on the block turned into his first day of a brand-new life.

And we aren’t slowing down! We already have 3 more dogs on the board that we’re working to bring into VLB over the next couple of weeks.

Stay tuned for their stories, updates on Goliath, and all the chaos that comes with keeping this place going. 😂

🚨 HERE WE GO AGAIN GOLIATH NEEDS US TODAY! 🚨

This big guy is Goliath, and today is his last day.

Unfortunately, that means exactly what it sounds like if nobody steps up for him, he is scheduled to be put down.

But guess what?

Villa La Beast is stepping in. ❤️🐾

Instead of taking that long, completely undeserved nap, Goliath will be coming here to the Villa where he gets another chance.

We need some help making that happen. Our goal is to raise $500 to cover his travel, vet visit, testing, vaccines, preventatives, and anything else he may need once we get him safely here.

$500 gets Goliath off the block and headed toward a completely different future.

🎉 Big week for the Villa La Beast crew! 🎉

Dax, Daisy, and Rick are all lined up for their final vet visits this week as they get ready for their forever homes!

🐾 Dax checked in and out like an absolute champ today... and tipped the scales at 137 pounds! 😳 That's one big boy!

Even better, Dax tested heartworm negative and received his 12-month heartworm prevention injection today, so his new family won't have to worry about heartworm prevention for an entire year. ❤️ Daisy and Rick will be getting theirs as well before heading home.

🐾 Rick is up tomorrow for his check-in.

🐾 Daisy follows on Wednesday.

All three could definitely use a good grooming before their big day, but we're beyond excited to announce they'll be heading to their forever farm on Saturday, July 25th! 🏡❤️

Moments like these remind us why we keep pushing forward. Watching these three begin the next chapter of their lives is the greatest reward.

This is what I go through every day to keep Villa La Beast going.

While most people see the happy endings, this is the reality behind them dark, damp, dusty crawl spaces, long hours, and hard work. These jobs pull me away from what I started this rescue to do: training dogs, rehabilitating them, and finding them the right homes.

Right now, I'm spending my days working from 6:00 AM until 8:00 PM sometimes even later, just to keep the bills paid. Every hour I'm under a house or on a job site is an hour I'm not able to train, rescue, or help another dog.

If you'd like to support Villa La Beast, every donation helps buy back that time. Your support allows me to spend more of my day where it belongs with the animals that need me most. Without it, I'll have to continue shrinking the rescue until one day there won't be room—or more accurately, there won't be time to save another dog.

🐾 Villa La Beast Needs Volunteers!🐾

Villa La Beast is looking for volunteers who can help once a week by taking one of our dogs to a grooming appointment.

Since I've gone back to work, I'm no longer able to make these trips, and many of our dogs have fallen behind on their grooming. Keeping them clean and well-maintained is an important part of their health and comfort, and we could really use your help.

🚐 A rescue van will be provided for transporting the dog, so you won't need to use your own vehicle. Once we have a committed volunteer, I'll work with a groomer to get weekly appointments back on the schedule.

If you have a few hours to spare each week and would like to make a real difference for our rescue dogs, please send us a message or text me directly at 470-334-5259
