Happy Weekend!
It looks like we're going to be stuck in traffic jam for a while ... When I say traffic jam, I mean window rubber-necker, fluffs-everywhere, birdies-flying, "traffic jam" which is most likely caused by squirrels.
I hope you're spending your weekend wisely: Enjoying sunbeams, surround by warm fuzzies, and wearing what makes you feel happy!

You are not too late. You are not a failure. But . . .

In the world of homeless pet care we call it "fail" however foster failing is celebrated! It means the pet the you committed to caring & fostering for a temporary amount of time, turns into a pet that is truly meant be in your always & furever family and you are the BEST match for this animal.

Often fostering homeless pets gives the opportunity to learn that people can be good. It gives the safe place to learn manners and to understand routines as dependable & as security that most of them have not known. Fostering gives homeless animals an opportunity to bloom into silly and smart character that they were never able to express themselves as before. These simple opportunities allow pets to be seen for the great potential they really offer a home & family.

The secret is... we don't always realize that all these pets are also teaching us about ourselves and our capacities to love, to enjoy the simple & the silly, and to go through difficult challenges that bring beauty into a world that shows us ugliness.
Sometimes these two different aspects of fostering come together to create a "foster fail", and that is to be celebrated 🎉

Sabre is putting her foot down! No... she putting her full weight down! No more rushing today. Let's get rebellious and slow down today. Let's check in with ourselves and remember what we're grateful for today.
Because life doesn't always need all the extra fancy things. Sometimes a bare table in the middle of the work space is a perfect place for nap. Probably all the more so if you're a wondrous fluffy sweetie-pie senior mama cat. 🥰

Ranger would like challenge you:
Do you know how to notice the difference between organic catnip that is FRESH and catnip that is most commonly sold in pet store markets?
Probably it's not something you think about too much. Ranger, however, thinks about these things ALL the TIME. He works hard to be at the top of his department including many random surprise inspections on the midst of creating the organic catnip toys.
While brothers Nonny & Greenie are particular about fabric choices, Ranger closely watches the stuffing, the brewing, the filling, and the completed projects with thirsty eyes. Another surprise inspection can come at any time! We cannot fail! We cannot disappoint our terrible tabby with half-stale catnip 🙀
In fact we never do!
No matter how challenging or odd it can be to work with cats in the midst of our everyday workspace, I am so thankful that they are the constant reminder of the joys our fresh organic catnip toys can bring into their little lives. 💕
In return they bring silliness, laughter, and stories I could not imagine up on my own into my life! I am so thankful for this opportunity to be your local organic catnip toy supplier. 🌱 🍀 🌱

Slow day at the office has a whole other meaning when you work with cats. 😮 Yes! They keep me guessing. They also keep me busy making organic catnip toys or natural silvervine toys, because once in a while they need to be reminded not to hit their brother and to play with toys instead 😹

Just another reminder that curiosity and patience can go a long way in discovering some new thing that you might just LOVE.
