🐾 Important Update to Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program 🐾


First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who has supported our TNR program. Because of your dedication, we've been able to help many feral cats in our community while reducing overpopulation in a humane way. We truly appreciate everyone who has taken the time to trap, transport, and advocate for these cats.
As our program has continued to grow, we've reached a point where we need to make a few changes to ensure we can continue serving both our TNR patients and the dogs and cats who rely on us for medical and surgical care every day.

Effective immediately:

Surgeries are Monday - Thursday

🐱 TNR surgeries will be by appointment only. We are no longer able to accommodate same-day walk-ins or same-day call-in appointments.
🐱 Appointments will be limited to two cats per day, with a maximum of one cat per household per day. These limits help us continue offering this valuable community service while ensuring we have adequate time and resources for pets needing procedures such as emergency surgeries, biopsies, mass removals, and other important medical care.

For everyone's safety:
✔️ All feral cats must arrive in a humane live trap. We cannot accept feral cats in pet carriers, crates, or other containers. Live traps allow our team to safely and humanely handle the cats while protecting both them and our staff.

Program Eligibility
This TNR program is funded specifically for Crook County. Because of the program's funding requirements, we are only able to accept cats that reside within Crook County. Unfortunately, we cannot accept cats from Bend, Redmond, or other surrounding communities.

Scheduling Your Appointment
Due to limited availability, appointments may book several weeks in advance. We encourage scheduling your appointment before trapping whenever possible. If you trap a cat before your appointment, please be prepared to provide safe, humane care until your scheduled surgery date.
We understand these changes may be an adjustment, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. Our goal is to continue offering a successful TNR program while also ensuring we can provide the highest quality care to every patient who comes through our doors.
