When I’m not grooming your kitties, I’m usually occupied with mine. 🖤 My babies swung in for their weekly nail trims yesterday.

Feline grooming has such a special place here at The Good Dog, and I absolutely love being able to offer a calm, one on one grooming experience for our cat clients.

For anyone who has been wanting to get their kitty in, I’m opening a limited feline grooming day on Monday, November 16 at 50% off our regular feline grooming rate. ✨

This is not a discount I plan to offer regularly, so if you’ve been curious about feline grooming or have been meaning to book, send us a message for available times.

We picked up Dafy today from Central Aroostook Humane Society for a little refresh. 🐾

He is truly the sweetest little man. Stop by the shelter to say hi- or better yet, sn**ch him up and give him the home he deserves 🖤

If you didn’t get a chance to chat with me but have been waiting to hear back, I’m returning inquiries now and throughout most of tomorrow.

Our books for the first half of 2027 will officially open next weekend. Please start thinking about your preferred days and times, and keep an eye out for the official booking announcement.

Clients who choose not to prebook will be moved to our waitlist as availability becomes limited.

2027 is going to be a very busy year for us between grooming competitions, continuing education, and even opening another business — but I want to make sure I continue to prioritize YOU and your pets.

Before the holiday season hits, I also want to thank each and every one of you for continuing to choose us to pamper your beloved pets. We truly love them like our own.

We’re heading into year seven, and we simply would not be here without all of you. 🤎🐾

I’ve been really intentional about investing in the highest quality tools and equipment to make every groom as safe, efficient, and comfortable as possible. Still a few upgrades to go, but I love seeing this space come together. ✨

Zoltar is still very much in puppy coat and we’re working with the furnishings he has while waiting for more coat to come in, but I’m really happy with how his outline is coming along. 🩶

I’ve been hand stripping his jacket and continuing to shape and refine his breed standard trim with each groom. I love watching all of the little details start to come together. ✂️

He’s still got plenty of growing to do, but he’s looking pretty handsome already.

Hi everyone! 🤎

I wanted to thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past couple of months. We’ve had a huge increase in appointment requests, and Addy and I have been working hard to keep up with our current schedule.

We’re excited to share that we’ll be adding Tuesdays from 8am–2pm to our salon schedule.

This additional day will allow us to begin working through our waitlist and open a few more recurring appointments. Canine haircut breeds and felines will be prioritized at this time, though we’re happy to accommodate other grooming needs as availability allows.

We’re also proud to be one of the very few local salons offering feline grooming services, as well as the only salon to offer hand stripping for appropriate wire-coated breeds. Pictured is a Schnauzer puppy in the early stages of developing his hand-stripped coat.

If you’ve been waiting for an opening, send us a message and we’ll be happy to see what we can accommodate.
