Just walking down the hall and running into Betty, the tiniest, fiercest (and fluffiest) cubicle supervisor we've ever had. 👑 She's definitely checking the quarter's CAC data to make sure we're all on track. Multi-tasking queen! 💅

Happy Pit Bull Awareness Day! 🐾 We're here to celebrate this widely misunderstood—and incredibly lovable—group of dogs by debunking some common misconceptions.

The term "Pit Bull" isn't an official breed; it's an umbrella term for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and American Pit Bull Terrier.

Let's look at the facts:

Pit Bull type dogs are NOT born aggressive. They are not inherently aggressive, and in fact, they were ranked the second most tolerant breed after Golden Retrievers in temperament tests.

The myth that "Pit Bulls have locking jaws" is simply fiction. No dog breed has a "locking jaw".

The majority of these dog types were historically bred to become family dogs and farm help.

Every dog's behavior should be assessed as an individual based on their temperament and upbringing, not on their ancestral breed. Share this post to spread the facts and the love for Pit Bulls!
