Please welcome Carl! Jack Russell mix. He's 13 plus. He arrived really congested, coughing, sneezing, all goopy. Vets were closed today. I'll call first thing in the morning. I made him warm bone broth this evening and he loved it. Although he's not feeling well, he's a total lovebug.

Morgan's Mutts helped a tiny senior make her way to Miko's Sanctuary in January 2025. You might remember her. She was a velcro dog, extremely thin, her coat was dull and most of her little teefers rotted away exposing only black roots.

A rescue takes care of the immediate medical needs, (in this case vaccines, spay and a dental) and the adopters take care of the emotional needs. The latter is, without a doubt, the most important. Rosie is the perfect example of that. This update had me in happy tears. She now looks healthy, happy, and loved. I would even swear she looks younger. This is what rescue is all about. It takes a village.

To Shane and Sarah - THANK YOU for loving her, opening your hearts, and adopting a senior. Rosie looks absolutely marvelous! ❤️

Alrighty. We need a name. She's 15 years old. Typical minpin. Friendly. Definitely energetic for her age. Full of p**s and vinegar. I had her in the welcoming room and she damn near jumped the 3 foot gate to be with the other dogs.
