Every little girl loves Rocky ♥️ Our Lone Star Ranch wouldn’t be the same without our spunky but sugar sweet pony 🫶🏼

It’s the little moments that mean the most. 🤎

Watching a student grow, gain confidence, and find so much joy in something they love is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

It’s not always about the big wins, but the progress, the smiles, and the memories made along the way. 🐴🤎

Never forget to love on your horse and show them how much you appreciate them. They give us their heart, their trust, and their best every time we ask. It’s easy to get caught up in the competition, the wins, and the losses, but at the end of the day, they’re more than just a performance or a score. Take the time to slow down, give them an extra pat, and remind them how special they are. They do so much for us, and sometimes the smallest moments of appreciation mean the most. ❤️🐴

Another great weekend at the Tri Star Horse Show! 🐴

I’m incredibly thankful for the group of students and families I get to do this with. Watching my students put in the work, continue to improve, and support one another is what makes weekends like this so rewarding. ♥️

Not every run goes as planned, and we definitely had some tough goes this weekend. But that’s part of showing horses. Some of the biggest lessons come from the runs that challenge us the most. What matters is learning from those moments, making adjustments, and coming back better the next time. I’m proud of how my students handled both the highs and the lows.💪🏼

A huge thank you to all the parents for your continued support, dedication, and trust in our program. It truly takes a team, and I’m grateful for the one we have!💕

Thank you to everyone at Tri Star for putting on another great show and giving us the opportunity to do what we love. 😁

Proud of this crew, the progress we’re making, and the lessons we’re learning along the way.

They had a few fantastic practice rides this weekend to prepare for next year’s show season.
Watch out for them in the Youth Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, and over fences classes!

Here is what I think… normalize making your students help set up the patterns. They are learning so many different things in those moments! Hard work 💪🏼, responsibility, creativity and memorization🧠.

It’s great to show up to a lesson and have everything ready for you; horse caught, brushed and tacked up, sometimes lunged for you, cones or poles set in place so you can practice your up coming pattern for the show. But what a trainer really sees when a student comes to the lesson ready to help set things up and excited about cleaning up their own horse is ✨Passion✨ and ✨Dedication✨.

Good horses make good cowgirls better. Built on trust, time in the saddle, and knowing each other’s next move. ♥️🐴
