Today is a day to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. I would also like to thank those who have served and are currently serving in the military. Be sure to show your appreciation today, and if you see someone who has served or is serving, take a moment to thank them for their service. ❤️🤍💙

Welcome back to Kiki’s Paw Spa, Jasmine, Sofi, Ollie, Lola, and Nova! 🐾💕

So many sweet pups have been coming in for their summer cuts and deshed treatments these last few days, and I am loving all the fresh summer looks!

Be sure to secure your appointment soon, as I am currently booked out until the second week of May.

Let’s help your pup get that winter coat off with a deshed treatment, or get them ready for the warmer weather with their summer cut! ☀️✂️

Please note: deshed treatments are wonderful for double-coated breeds. I recommend avoiding shaving these pups, as their undercoat helps keep them cool in the summer and helps regulate their body temperature. Shaving can disrupt the coat and may lead to shave shock, making it more difficult for them to stay properly regulated and changing the look of the coat.

Meet Maxina! Location: Portage,WI
Maxina is a GSD mix with husky and cattle dog. This happy pup loves to run, play, and burn off energy—especially with other dogs. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for her, and she would thrive in a home with another dog. Maxina is well-behaved when you have to leave the house when there is another dog. If there isn't another dog, doggie daycare would be best as she doesn't like being isolated or alone. Maxina loves people and she especially bonds with men. She is good with kids. Toys are one of her favorite things and of course bones. She enjoys playing with toys around other dogs but does best with supervision to ensure everyone plays nicely. Maxina wouldn't be a good fit for homes with cats. Maxina is very affectionate, playful, and full of life. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves fun, friends, and toys. Patience will be needed in the beginning as she is not very obvious about needing to go outside. Considering her breeds, she is very calm around the house. Maxina is spayed & up to dates on shots, weighs 50 pounds.
