We have TEN kittens that are anxiously waiting to find their forever families. We will have available kittens at our adoption fair this Saturday.

To encourage families to adopt kittens in pairs, we are also offering a special back-to-school deal. Kittens are the purr-fect homework companions. They also love to be read to, assisting children with reading skills.

Welcome 10 week old Diesel. He was trapped at a feral colony for TNR. It was soon realized by his trapper that he is a loving and social little guy, especially coming from a colony. He will need a little socialization but for the most part, he will be able to move straight to adoption.

He absolutely loves dogs and wants to befriend every dog he meets. He also is friendly with kitties. He is a great kitten for all families.

He is being fostered by the amazing Amanda and will be a playmate for our other singleton Waffles, until he finds his forever home.

The failure to thrive cereal kids are still trying to push through and survive. Kix and Chex are more stable than when they arrived. They are taste testing Royal Canin mother and baby cat wet food. Pebbles hasn’t given this a try yet. All three are being syringe fed every three hours.

Kix and Chex are starting to bat at each other in play which is a great sign. Pebbles doesn’t have any energy reserves to join in the games just yet.

Foster Kristen has been a busy lady, trapping kitties at a feral colony. She was able to trap 2 kittens (Nora and Smule’) that she will be fostering for us. She was also able to trap the mom who is unfortunately already pregnant. Kristen will also foster mama Pandora and care for the family once kittens arrive.

Welcome 6 week old Waffles. He was found all alone in Manitowoc county. He was covered in fleas which we have been busy taking care of with multiple baths and combing, in addition to topical flea treatment.

Thank you Karen & Roger for taking on the task of ridding Waffles of fleas.

Huge thank yous to Kerry Jo and her daughter for going up and picking up this little guy and taking him to the vet to check for a microchip.

Welcome to our new 4 week old cereal group: Pebbles, Kix, and Chex.

These three sweet & very fragile babies are Failure to Thrive and were in need of intensive supportive care so we’re transferred to us by UCC. They were previously with their mama cat and two additional siblings. To accommodate these tiny ones, they came to us and the mom and healthy siblings stayed in foster care with UCC.

Pebbles, the tiniest, arrived weighing 196g which is the expected weight of a 5-7 day old. Her brothers are slightly bigger but not by much. Besides being tiny, not growing, not gaining weight, the Failure to Thrive has also delayed their teeth development and physical skills.

They are placed with our wonderful foster mom Amanda and she is providing them with all the supportive care, including feeding them every 3 hours around the clock.

It is completely unknown why they were not thriving with their mom but hopefully with intensive care, we can get them back on track, growing, and developing.

Post adoption update for Gwen Rose.

She has now been spayed and has been adopted by her UCC foster mom. She is slowly making friends with her feline siblings in the home. She was not a fan of her pineapple collar following her spay but can’t hold that against her.

She has settled in to her forever home and is enjoying life!

Meet Towanda - a delightful torbie kitten who was found starving and lethargic in a cofounder's driveway. She knew just where to go for help! She is now thriving and looking for her furever home. Could it be yours?!

Towanda is a perfect balance of playful kitten and snuggle buddy. She loves to chase toys and zoom around the room, but she's just as quick to pause for a cuddle. In the middle of playtime, she'll happily hop into your lap, flop against your chest, and nuzzle against you for pets before she dashes off again, on to her next great big toy adventure. She's affectionate without being needy, playful without being wild, and independent without being aloof. Oh, and she's real big on purrs!
She is a bit reserved with new people, humans are pretty new to her! But she warms up quickly and is ready to play in no time.

Post adoption update for White Mocha & Dutch (Godiva’s babies)

They had their Vet checks. Both very healthy. White mocha is now named Kona. Dutch is named Luna cuz she's a lunatic lol. Kona can fly!!! It's the only way he gets down from the cat tree. I think he loves it cuz he does it all the time.

Great update… and two truly gorgeous kittens.

Another of Gloria’s babies was found. When Gloria was trapped yesterday and reunited with her three in foster care, it unknowingly left one baby behind at the colony. This 4th baby girl, Petra, has now been reunited with mama Gloria and her 3 brothers Ash, Cole, and Stone.

Thank you to Pam with Urban Cat Coalition for running out to rescue this last baby and bring her up to join her family.
