Jessica’s kittens are starting to feel better after a rough week. Everyone received their first vaccinations and this sent them into a downward spiral. They stopped eating, lost weight, vomiting, and diarrhea. We’ve been aggressively treating for everything. The vomiting has stopped, everyone is eating again, gaining weight, and lethargy is starting to resolve. We are still awaiting an extensive f***l panel, testing not only parasites and infections but dozens of other things, including dna issues. This has been a tough group but they are now on the mend.

The patriot group, Echo, Gloria, and Cadet are making progress in socialization boot camp. They are as cute as buttons.

Thank you Erin, her daughter, and her toddler son Nolan for coming over to socialize the kittens. Nolan was their first experience with tiny humans and they did great. It was wonderful that Nolan was so sweet and gentle with them. The R group was most engaging with the entire family.

The family is also kind enough to provide respite care for Godiva and her kittens this week. It will be a very fun week this coming week for Nolan and the kittens

Thank you to Milan Estates Assisted Living for hosting a food drive kitten social hour. The residents enjoyed some cuddles and play time and the kittens relaxed and soaked up all their love.

Big big BIG THANK YOU to Girl Scout Troop #8207 (and Wyatt!) for hosting a Kitten Hour Donation Drive. Kittens and cupcakes are a great way to wrap up the season. We came away with much needed food and training pads! Thank you for your generosity, and for hanging out with us. We had so much fun - humans and kitties alike! (Even if Fred was not so interested in being in the group picture, we promise he enjoyed being there!)

UPDATE: ADOPTED
How is little Mr. Reed still waiting for his own forever family? Reed is a very sweet, playful, loving kitten looking for his forever family. He would do well with adult only and families with children of all ages. He would also do well with a feline or canine friend.

He is litter boxing with no accidents and is a great little eater.

His adoption fee is $145. At the time of adoption, he will be neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. If interested in meeting this sweet little boy, reach out to [email protected] and request an adoption application.

He is currently placed in a Port Washington foster home.

💥💥💥We have a special food plea. 💥💥💥

It’s difficult to ask this of our supports as youve given so much but we have a litter of kittens and their mom who are struggling to gain weight. So far, nothing really is appetizing for them. We have FINALLY found a good food that everyone is excited to eat and will make all the difference in their weight gains.

🎉🎉🎉huge SHOUT OUT and much gratitude to Our local community and Port Tourism🎉🎉🎉

Port Washington Tourism Pebble House hosted a food drive kitten hour and it was a smashing success. During the two hour event, we had 100+ supporters come thru, baring gifts, and offering arms and hands to snuggle kittens.

The “R” kittens, Gwen Rose’s kittens, and Baby’s kittens were all available for snuggles and play time. They had the opportunity to meet all kinds of folks, from infants up to seniors.

Little Bellona found herself an adoptive family (who is also interested in adopting one of our adults along with Bellona).

We received two car loads of donated supplies and $259 cash.

Big thank yous to Miss Amy Clark with Port Tourism for all her hard work in planning and making this kitten social hour a success.

Ozaukee Press made an appearance so keep an eye out for us in next week’s edition.

Thank you to the home schooling co-op of SE Wisconsin for hosting a food drive kitten social hour. Gwen Rose’s four little ones had their first public appearance, as well as the R group & the Scooby kids.

All the children were wonderful and so gentle with all the kittens. It was great fun for all.
