Orange Cream isopods are a vibrant and hardy morph of the species Porcellionides pruinosus, prized for their soft blend of creamy white and bright orange coloration. Sometimes referred to as “Powder Orange” or “Powder Blue” relatives, this fast-breeding species is known for its frosted, powdery appearance and active nature. Armadillo officinalis are bold, brick-red roly-polies native to the Mediterranean. They can roll into a tight ball for protection and are even known to make faint stridulation sounds when disturbed—a rare trait in isopods!

Hardy and eye-catching, they prefer warm setups with a dry/moisture gradient and a diet of leaf litter, wood, and calcium. A slower breeder, but a true standout in any collection.
