Ragnar FOSTER Malinois day 6. He’s doing great 😊 on top of all the regular dog stuff he’s getting all the extra extras… he has been mediocre at best with come when called so for this session I cleared the yard of all toys because he wants to play keep away. Yes of course his reward toys will come back into play. But sometimes you have to break things down into micro sessions. Pieces of the puzzle. This is what’s working for HIM. He KNOWS what I mean when I say “come” and we didn’t need the added distraction of another layer (toy) Come when called HAS to be ABSOLUTE. Will he work for food and toy reward? YES. But I found myself bribing and begging 🥴😑 no thank you 😆 All in all he’s a lovely dog. He’s so sweet, biddable, driven, has a natural on/off switch 👀 and for the most part is a clear thinker.
