Some days run like a perfectly maintained aquarium… and some days the filter decides to start making strange noises. 😂 Today came with a few hiccups, but Hayden truly stepped up, picked up the slack, and absolutely outdid herself in the store!

Even with everything else going on, she stayed focused, worked hard, and helped keep Aqua-Mart Aquariums moving in the right direction. To say Fishboy is grateful for her today would be an understatement. Thank you, Hayden—you did an outstanding job! 👏🐟

We also want to thank every customer who came through the doors today, along with all of our service accounts from both this morning and tonight. Your continued business, patience, and support mean more to us than you know!

Now Fishboy is finishing up another night in the store, getting everything ready so he can load up and head back out for service in the morning. Apparently, “going home at a reasonable hour” is still not part of the maintenance schedule. 😂

💥 Judging by the store this morning, it looks like a bomb went off last night… but we promise it was just Fishboy unpacking a whole lot of new livestock! 😂🐠

The good news is that everything has been safely acclimated and put away. The slightly less-good news is that the cleanup crew—also known as Fishboy—still has quite a mess waiting for him!

Right now, Fishboy is loading up for a couple of service calls before heading back to clean up the aftermath and get Aqua-Mart Aquariums ready to open for the day.

Don’t miss all the awesome new livestock that arrived this week! Stop in, look around, and please pretend you don’t notice any shipping bags Fishboy may have missed. 😂

Fishboy’s plans for an early night have officially been canceled…again. 😂 He’ll be at Aqua‑Mart Aquariums late tonight getting everyone properly acclimated, settled in, and introduced to their new temporary homes!

🦀 Pitho Crabs Are Here! 🦀

Aqua-Mart Aquariums received a bunch of these unusual little cleanup-crew members today—and they may not win a beauty contest, but they’re ready to work! 😂

Pitho crabs are best known for helping control stubborn bubble algae, and many hobbyists find them even more effective than emerald crabs. They may also graze on:

🫧 Bubble algae
🌿 Hair algae and other nuisance algae
🍽️ Leftover food and organic debris

They’re generally considered peaceful and reef-safe, although—as with any crab—we recommend keeping them well fed and monitoring them around delicate corals and tiny tankmates. If your aquarium doesn’t have enough natural algae, supplement their diet with quality seaweed or algae-based foods.

We received lots of Pitho crabs today, so stop by Aqua-Mart Aquariums and add a few hardworking little weirdos to your saltwater cleanup crew! 🦀🧹

At Aqua-Mart Aquariums, when an employee is efficient, dependable, and gets everything done ahead of schedule, we don’t reward them by inventing a bunch of pointless busywork. 😂

Corey is one of our newer employees and our first-ever nighttime employee—and he has been doing a fantastic job! This week, he finished every task Fishboy had for him with an entire hour left in his shift. Instead of finding something unnecessary for him to do, we sent him home early and paid him for the full shift. Great work deserves to be rewarded!

Corey, thank you for always showing up on time, taking pride in your work, and helping keep Aqua-Mart Aquariums looking its best. Your effort definitely hasn’t gone unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything you’re doing! 👏🐠

🐟 A small freshwater order just hit the floor yesterday at Aqua-Mart Aquariums—and while it may be small, it brought some really good-looking fish with it!

New arrivals include:

Allie stopped by Aqua‑Mart Aquariums today to pick up her new tank kit—and, of course, a few extras because nobody ever leaves an aquarium store with just what they came for! 😂

Fishboy is apparently allergic to taking an entire day off… but thanks to his good friends Randy and Gina, he’s at least been trying to sneak in a morning here and there! 😂🎣

For the third Tuesday in a row, he managed to get out on the boat, enjoy the beautiful weather and even hold something other than a fish bag for a change! A huge thank-you to Randy and Gina for another great morning and for reminding Fishboy that occasionally having fun is allowed.

But the boat is docked, the fish tale has been told, and now it’s back to work! Aqua-Mart Aquariums may be closed today, but Fishboy certainly isn’t. We’ll see everyone tomorrow from 11–7! 🐠

Apparently “closed” at Aqua‑Mart Aquariums just means Fishboy works even harder without unlocking the front door. 😂

Between service calls, upgrading a customer’s aquarium, and now receiving a new saltwater shipment—with a little freshwater mixed in for good measure—Fishboy just keeps going…and going…and going. Somebody forgot to install the OFF switch! 🔋🐟
