Memorial Day, Monday, we are going to be here feeding and watering the animals and that takes about 2 hours. If you need anything between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm we will have the doors open .

We have a couple cool fish from last week's shipment: Shovelnose catfish, Sailfin mollies, and Gouramis.
Yesterday's shipment: Beautiful Red king Kong striped shrimp, regular yellow rice shrimp, and assorted rili shrimp, Congo tetras, blue emperor tetras, Silver hatchets.
New plants too :)

I don't use Facebook for the Pet Shop often, but I want to warn the customers that buy fish, that we are going to be doing something new, by closing the fish room on Wednesdays. It's stressful on the fish being shipped, then unloaded into our tanks, and then in the same day catching them and bagging them up right away. We are going to use Wednesdays to do fish shipments and tank maintenance. We will not be selling fish from the fish room at all on Wednesdays. That will give us the time and space to hopefully have a gentler experience for the fish. It will also be easier on us when we are cleaning tanks to have the room to move lol as you know it gets pretty crowded :)
I can imagine this will take some getting used to, but I think in the long run we will have better, success with the fish.

Our phone is out of order until Monday afternoon. I know this is terribly inconvenient for you all. We are hoping it will be repaired Monday. Our hours are the same.
Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am through 2:00 pm
Sunday Closed
Large dog nail cutter here Saturday of this week
Monday and Friday only next week.

I’m sorry we’re late opening, but some of us live at higher elevation and the roads are bad. We plan on opening from 12:00 to 5:00 today. Thank you for your patience 😅

By now I think everyone knows how paranoid I am of ice and snow. I will open today, but I will close early. I don't know how early, but I know it's happening because I am terrified to drive. Please if you absolutely need pet food, come as soon as possible. I don't want your animals to go hungry, I don't want anyone to have an accident, and I don't want anyone coming to the shop to find we are not open.

I’m incredibly grateful to this community for supporting us for over 35 years. This time of year I try to reflect on that. I hope everyone has a Thanksgiving to remember with friends and family.
