Congratulations to Storm on graduating from Doggie Do-Over!
Her owner reached out recently moving from the Big Apple needing help with recall, building confidence, and adjusting in her new home to limit her potty accidents.

When I first met Storm she was extremely timid and would p*e as soon as she saw me but I could tell that she had a sweet soul and just needed some help knowing she’s safe.

In 3 short weeks Storm has completely turned around. She is listening to her owner way better on leash (off leash.. well she’s a husky!)
She knows: sit, down, come, stay, paw, touch and to stay out of the kitchen.

Her owner has done an amazing job with training her. She’s given her the patience and dedication she needs to flourish and it really showed today.

They’ve come up with a new morning routine to get her to potty outside and it’s been working. When I walked into their house today Storm didn’t squat and p*e, she came up to me, sniffed me and let me pet her.

I am so proud of this family for reaching their goals and its stories like this one that remind me of how much I love what I do! 🐾🦴🤍

Spring is here! & Summer is just around the corner.

Meet Rocky!
Rocky is between 1-2 years of age and is a rescue! We think he has some Plott Hound in him.

Rocky’s owner reached out needing help with recall, basic obedience and getting along with their cats.

Rocky has done amazing at learning his basics and even more amazing at having a better recall! We are at the point where he can be off leash in his backyard and work on his recall! His owner and him have a very special bond and he listens to her very well, she dedicates a lot of time to training him and playing with him!

He is still learning how to control himself with cats. He doesn’t bark as much now but he will lay down and watch them intently.

Rocky developed a habit of lunging at cars so we started counterconditioning training with him. This is a positive reinforcement style based training where our goal is to change his emotional response of cars going by. So instead of “lunge and bark” it’s “if I ignore the cars, I get a yummy treat” - he has improved so much on this but there is more work to do.
He still lunges if he is within 5 feet of a car or if he is being walked in a very busy area where he is overstimulated.

Our next goal is to have him calm down when he sees a dog as he gets very excited and can be unmanageable. Rocky has never been taught how to control himself in the presence of other dogs so this is something we will work on in our next session.

Between the cars and the dogs, it will take time to get Rocky to be unbothered by them or at least more manageable around them. Luckily his owner is 100% dedicated to helping him get there.

This is Ziva! She is a 1 year old Great Dane and such a sweetheart!

Ziva’s owner reached out to work on recall, potty training and to help with some of her sensitivity issues she was having.

After our first session it was clear Ziva was a fast learner and just wanted to please her owner. Ziva’s recall has improved, she hasn’t had an accident in the house since we’ve started training and we are working on getting her comfortable in public.

Ziva is a service dog in training. We have been working on her holding a stay when in an aisle and picking up items for her Mom, (who could faint if she bends to pick stuff up). Ziva is learning fast and it’s beautiful to watch her grow more confident in herself.

Good job to her owner for being dedicated to her and this training journey! Go Ziva! 😊🐾

This is my dog Incra!
She is a dachshund/beagle mix rescue, about 7 years old.

Fun fact: Incra and I graduated our Karen Pryor Academy Training course together. I wouldn’t be a Certified Trainer without her. 🤍

Incra loves to train! She catches on so fast and enjoys the process.
In this video I am just doing some basic stuff with her. We started off at Merrill Parkway but I was not feeling it down there and needed a less distracting environment. For myself, Incra was great but she could pick up on my stress.

We went to visit my sister at her salon and I did the rest of the training session in their open area outside the salon.

Usually I put music in my videos but I wanted to give you the opportunity to hear my cues I use with Incra.
There are some things I could do better and I learn from each training session.
Luckily Incra is very forgiving and has no problem earning more treats. This is a reminder that not all your training sessions have to be perfect, you just have to make it easy enough for your pup to be successful and they will be happily wagging their tail during the session. Just ask Incra! 🤍

Happy New Year!
I have officially been in business for 3 years now doing what I love!

2025 was a little bit crazy because I had a move halfway through the year.

In Washington State I worked with about 20 dogs/puppies - that included a litter of 9 Bernadoodle puppies that I got to work with from 0-10 weeks of age! It was a great experience.

I moved to Pennsylvania in June and worked with about 16 dogs/puppies. This included dog walking, training and dog sitting.

Between the two states I graduated about 25 dogs. My numbers were a little lower compared to previous years but that is to be expected when you pick up and move and have to start your business from scratch so here’s to 2026 and getting more dog work into my schedule!

I offer in home private training, dog walking and dog sitting!

Congratulations to Ozzy on graduating from Doggie Do-Over!

Ozzy is an 8 month old Labrador Retriever. When we started working with Ozzy at 5 months old we set some training goals. They were learning the basics better, no jumping and no nipping.

Ozzy learned the basics fairly quickly and showed us how smart he is. He is a nose driven and mouthy lab. Typical of his breed. He loves to have a toy nearby for him to play fetch with or just carry around! We used that to our advantage in his training sessions to help minimize his jumping and nipping.

Ozzy is so much better at jumping and nipping less and if he does start to do it, he can calm down pretty quickly. He even has learned to ignore the little kids in the house running around which is a huge success!

Ozzy’s Mom is patient and loving with him and has many tools now to continue working with Ozzy and helping him be successful. Thank you to your dedication to him!

Merry Christmas Ozzy! Hopefully Santa Paws brings you some goodies for being a good boy this year!! 🐾💛

Congratulations to Beau on graduating from Doggie Do-Over!

When we started, his owner reached out to me needing help with Beau’s recall and not barking so much at random things like dogs on tv, bells on tv etc..

Beau learned fast and after a few training sessions and his owners hard work, he is much better at his recall and comes when called when little to no distractions are around. They are still working on his recall when he is playing and running around with a dog friend!

He has also learned to quiet down when his Mom says “quiet” when he starts to bark at the TV. Although he still initially barks, he will quiet down much faster than when we first started. He is better with the TV & with people coming into his house.

He is still not a fan of big trucks going down the road and it’s something they are still working on.

Thank you to his owners for being dedicated to his training and being patient with him as he learned to work through the things that made him bark crazily before.
