Another two we don’t have enough funds, room, or sanity to help 😞😩😭.
A mail carrier saw the vehicle slow down just enough to toss them out and keep going. Two little girls. Where are their brothers? Did these two get thrown out because they can get pregnant? Will their mom get spayed now that you’ve had this unwanted litter or is this the answer every time she gets pregnant?
And these two were barely taken care of anyway. Picked up right after they were thrown out yet they’re covered in ticks, wormy, and starving.
The usual questions will be asked. What road? What type of vehicle? Did you get the tag number?
It doesn’t matter. This isn’t illegal in Mississippi. Animals don’t matter here. I used to think it would change. That starting a rescue would make everything better. And 11 years later, the situation is only worse.
We are still struggling with adoptions. Only one in the last six weeks. It’s bad for all rescues right now. Most are just shutting down. I truly don’t know what to do anymore other than beg for help and do what it takes to make it to the next day 😭😞.
