Today's show was a day of firsts! First trip with the new trailer! First time for Brooke to do a hunter show! She nailed her first course! (Video to come) First horse show for Tucker!! And he was a perfect gentleman! First time over fences for Victor! Melissa and Victor were Rusty Spur Champions and Suzi and Victor were Baby Green Reserve Champions! Awesome Day! Could not have asked for the horses to be more perfect and the riders were on it today!! Thank you Kourtney & Hillcrest Stables for putting on a great show!

We had beautiful weather and some great riding at Syracuse PHA this past week. My jumper riders cleaned up! Amy Papelino-Evans and Baxter were Champions of the .70 division, Emma Carter and Pretty Fly Guy were Champions of the Jr/Am 1.0m Jumpers, and they won their jumper classic (though the wrong ribbon is hanging in the picture)🤦‍♀️, and Arabella Teluk and Quantero II were Reserve Champions of the .80m Jumpers! (Sorry I realized I didn't get any photos of them). Bianca and Stormi had some nice rounds in their Green Large Pony classes. And Bianca and Emma got to participate in the Pairs competition! Their theme was the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders! Nice job everyone!

Stormi was hoping to try his luck at Skills USA today. He probably better stick to horse showing.

What a fun week in Ohio!! The horses were so relaxed as soon as we arrived, and just happy all week! All the riders just had positive rides!! Seeing my riders apply everything they have been working on all winter and be able to see the results from that hard work is why I enjoy being an instructor! Giving me their insight on how their horse feels and being able to make adjustments they feel they need to do to make their ride better is always rewarding to see happen. Three HUGE thank yous!! One to Aimee for making amazing dinners for us all week! And one to "Uncle" Rich for trailering us there and back safely! And last but not least to Tyler for always taking such great care of the horses and stable area!
