Looking for a little sunshine to brighten these gloomy Montana spring days? Sunny is a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing in at a whopping 7 pounds (though he wouldn’t mind adding a little extra fluff!). This little guy has a big personality packed into a tiny package. Sunny gets along well with other dogs, does great with cats, and seems to absolutely love kids. Whether he’s tagging along on your daily adventures or curled up beside you for a cozy evening, Sunny is ready to bring plenty of love and smiles to his forever family.

Zipper is a 1-year-old neutered long-haired Chihuahua mix with a heart as big as his fluffy ears. This little guy is pure sunshine. Just look his way and his tail starts wagging. Zipper gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, and he loves being around people. He’s currently a little under the weather with a URI and could stand to put on a few pounds, but he’s already on the road to feeling better and we’re hopeful he’ll be back to his best self soon.

A little bright spot on this gloomy day… Zoey has been adopted! She waited much longer than we ever hoped she would, but the right family finally came along. Zoey is such a special girl, and everyone who met her knew what a sweetheart she was. As a bonus, she now has a canine sister named Willow. We can’t wait to see them settle in together and become best friends.

Congratulations, Zoey! Thank you to her adopters for giving this deserving girl the home she’s been waiting for. 🥰

Beautiful Abby went to work with her foster mom this week. Because she was such a good girl, she got to go to Murdoch’s after work!! Abby is an undiscovered gem. Not only is she gorgeous, she is extremely well trained. She is dog and cat friendly. One very lucky family is going to realize that this is their girl, but in the meantime, her foster parents are taking the best of care of her!!!
Abby is about 3 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.

Oh Basil 🥹🥰 Pictures really don’t do this boy justice. He’s much cuter in person and a lot smaller than he looks in photos.

Basil is about 3 years old and weighs around 25 pounds. We’re not sure exactly what his breed mix is, but we’d guess there’s some Dachshund, Spaniel, or Collie in there somewhere.

He loves attention, enjoys being around people, and does well with kids, other dogs, and cats. Once he knows you’re his friend, he’s a pretty lovable little guy. He can be a bit hesitant in certain situations, especially around doorways, so he’ll need a family willing to give him a little time to adjust and build confidence. He’s worth the patience.

If you’re looking for a smaller dog with a sweet personality, Basil would love to meet you. ❤️🐾

Milo and Lottie are ready for their big night out, are you?! These two adorable rescue pups will be the guests of honor at this week’s bingo night at Glacier Brewing Company, and they can’t wait to soak up all the attention, belly rubs, and compliments they very much believe they deserve.

Join us Thursday from 6–8pm for our FINAL bingo event of the season! Come meet Milo and Lottie, play some bingo, grab a drink, and help support the rescue dogs of LSAR. We’d love to send bingo season off with a full house!

We would like to reintroduce a dog that has been in rescue now for a year. Sharkleberry had lots of interest when we first rescued her, but for one reason or another, none of the apps were right for her or she right for the any of the families. Now that her foster has had her for a year, we know much much more about this girl and are now prepared to find the right match for her!!

The perfect family for her would have a small pack of chill dogs or one dog that is super chill. She loves hikes. She is a protector, especially for her person…she's always on high alert and sounds like she's going to unalive anyone who comes to the door lol. She eats EVERYTHING! Plastic, rubber, stuffed animals, grass, dirt...so a family would have to be diligent about picking up, closing doors and not leaving food on countertops unattended. She definitely wants to chase cats and chickens and squirrels and has climbed a tree after a squirrel🫣 . She has her quirks so the perfect family would be one that gets that and is able to manage them. Sharkleberry is very loving and adores people. She is as cute as a button with those wrinkles. She is about 1 year 6 months old. She is spayed and microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She would love an active home and family!
