We're proud of our Open Futurity horses making their first trips down the pen. Every futurity horse starts somewhere, and this show gave us valuable experience and a clear roadmap for what's next. We saw so many positive pieces to build on, and we're excited to continue developing these talented young horses throughout the season.

Before we wrap up an incredible week at the Star Spangled Slide, we have to give a huge birthday shoutout to our amazing Assistant Trainer, Meleah! 🎉❤️

The Equine Empire program simply wouldn't be the same without her. From the early mornings to the late nights, she's always there for our horses, our clients, and our team. We're so grateful we got to celebrate her special day doing what we all love together!

Tomorrow is the final day in Reno, and we're looking forward to ending the week with more great rides. 🇺🇸

One of the best parts… is watching our NonPros show. AND HAVE FUN DOING IT. Congratulations to Kelly and “Captain” on a beautiful run last night in the NonPro Derby.

𝓢𝓪𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓭𝓪𝔂 𝓪𝓽 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓢𝓽𝓪𝓻 𝓢𝓹𝓪𝓷𝓰𝓵𝓮𝓭 𝓢𝓵𝓲𝓭𝓮!

We're kicking off the morning bright and early with Shelah and her homegrown "Becky" in the NRHA Non Pro Futurity at 7:00 AM! ❤️

Then it's time for the NRHA Open Derby, where Torri Sims will have two to show, followed by Bayley and "Sam" in the Youth class.

We're grateful for another day spent doing what we love—showing great horses, teaching amazing riders, and cheering on our friends. Good luck to everyone showing! 💙

Wearing the very saddle pad her mother won Reining by the Bay in back in 2020… ❤️

Some moments are just meant to be.

Two years ago, with the help of Bluebird Equine, Torri brought GUNNAWANNABEME "Rosie" home from Booth Ranch and began the journey of developing her into the special mare we all believe she can be. Today, Rosie stepped into the show pen carrying not only her own potential, but the legacy of her incredible dam, Codalicious.
From winning the Level 1 Derby aboard a red mare to now showing that mare's red daughter in her own program, Torri has quietly built something truly special.

Congratulations Torri, on your Top 10 finish today! We couldn't be more proud of you and Rosie. This is only the beginning, and we can't wait to watch the incredible things you'll accomplish together. ❤️

Friday is one we've been looking forward to all week! ❤️🤍💙

Today marks the big debut for our talented 3-year-olds in the NRHA Open Futurity with Torri Sims. Many months of preparation have led to this moment, and we can't wait to watch these young horses step into the show pen for the very first time.
