We hope you find old fashioned hospitality on this twenty-first century website. Paradise Produce is dedicated to producing the highest quality local food for our discerning customers. We use no chemicals, but instead through mineralization of the soil, balanced nutrition, and careful handling let the natural processes of the earth encourage our crops to yield bountifully. The family farm is disappearing with the continuation of industrialization and subsidy-supported agriculture. Inspired farmers have developed a way to promote community supported agriculture, or CSA, shares where customers can directly patronize the people who grow their sustenance. Please also come see us at the farmer’s markets we attend! Other than the fresh food, one of the biggest advantages to buying locally is having a connection with your farmer. Our Page will continue to help you stay in touch with what’s being planted, tended, and harvested during our busy growing season. We look forward to having a great produce season with you!

Memories - that winter we didn't have our own vegetables. ❤️

Five years ago, when we moved our farm, I was very sick, we were living in interim housing, and we didn't get our winter crops planted.

For the first time since we'd been married, we went into the holidays without our own produce. And goodness, did I miss it!

The grocery store lettuce was bland and leathery, the greens had no sweetness, and finding good produce was downright difficult. Even at natural grocery stores, prices were sky-high and shelves were bare.

Our family was trying to heal and needed nutrient-dense food more than ever. I missed our farm, our fresh greens, and those good old-fashioned holiday turnip greens Grandma always makes.

That winter rekindled our purpose. ❤️ We wanted to make sure other families could enjoy fresh, nourishing, locally grown vegetables all through the holidays.

And that's why we offer our **5-week Holiday Box CSA!** 🥕🥬

Fresh sweet potatoes, spinach, carrots, winter squash, microgreens, and more, grown right here at our little Tennessee farm. Plus, you can swap anything you don't care for at our swap table!

For 5 weeks, you'll get a fresh selection of locally grown, organically raised, non-GMO produce from our little Tennessee farm. Think sweet potatoes, spinach, carrots, winter squash, microgreens, and more!

And here's something I think you'll love: your box comes packed and ready to go, BUT if there's something you don't care for, you can swap it at our swap table for something you do like. No getting stuck with vegetables nobody at your house wants to eat! 😊

Thanksgiving will be here before we know it, and if you're anything like me, you've got enough to think about without running all over town looking for good vegetables for your holiday table!

🌼 Franklin friends, we're bringing our GOOD MUMS to market this Saturday, and we'd sure love to see you!

You know how some things just feel better when they're grown with a little extra care? That's how we feel about these mums. ❤️

We grow them without synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers because we care about what goes into the ground, the little bees visiting our gardens, and the world we're leaving for our children.

And these aren't just mums to sit on your porch until Thanksgiving and then toss in the trash. You can plant them in your flower beds, give them a good home, and with a little luck and the right growing conditions, enjoy them again in seasons to come. 🌱

We like growing things that have a chance to put down roots and stick around awhile. Seems like a good way to do things, doesn't it?

Well, friends, we’ve had a mighty good time talking berries with y’all this fall! And we’ve got one more week of plant shopping before we tuck the nursery in for the season. ❤️

We’ve got some fun varieties for anyone dreaming of a backyard berry patch, including blueberries, red and golden raspberries, blackberries, elderberries, gooseberries, hardy kiwi, grapes, and even cranberries you can grow without a bog. Yep, really! 😂

Just imagine picking berries with the kids next summer, tossing fresh handfuls into breakfast, or making a cobbler with fruit from your own backyard. That’s the kind of gardening we love. ❤️
