UPDATE ON BREEDER PAIR🙏🏼‼️
We couldn’t leave her behind or let her go to the breeders. This is the female from yesterday. We learned about her existence when her temporary foster was picking up Draco, the male. Her name is Oreo.
BOTH are scheduled for spay and neuter next week at the Humane Society of Marion County. Unfortunately, they are making the Foster pay ahead of time because we are not affiliated with their facility. Draco is receiving vaccines and a heartworm test as we speak. Oreo will get hers done during her appointment next week. We asked for an invoice and estimate to try to raise the funds for the services, but they only gave us this pamphlet to show pricing.
We have a little bit of breathing room but this is still an urgent matter! We have until next Tuesday to find fosters for both of these dogs! We will be picking them up after surgery next week!
We are so thankful that our new friend, Selene, has offered to not only go and rescue them from this backyard breeding situation, but is willing to foster and have them vetted there as soon as possible. We know they bred her yesterday.
Geographically, we understand that this is a little bit confusing, but the temporary Foster lives in Marion County so that is why they’re having their vetting done there.
Please continue to share to help us find fosters for both Oreo and Draco. They are wonderful with other dogs and wonderful with kids and adults. They are both well-behaved dogs. Oreo is 7 years old, 50 lb, and was used for breeding. Draco is 4 years old, 100 lb, and was used for breeding and also studded out. They have never been around cats so we do not know. 🙏🏼❤️🐾
