💙 Meet Rio – The Cutest Little Frenchie With a Big Heart 💙
Rio is an absolutely adorable 2-year-old French Bulldog who’s looking for that extra-special adopter. His journey to rescue began when his owner could no longer afford the continued care he needs. Since arriving at BTRNT in January 2025, Rio has been blossoming into the happy, playful, snuggly pup he was always meant to be.
Rio is truly perfect in so many ways—he shares toys and food without fuss, loves people and other dogs, and makes friends everywhere he goes (his cuteness alone wins hearts instantly 💕). He adores squeaky toys—his plush football is his favorite, and he proudly carries it around like treasure. He’s house, crate, and leash trained, and he’ll gladly snuggle up with you after a good play session.
🌟 The special part about Rio is that he has a very delicate tummy. Before coming into rescue, he suffered from intestinal prolapse. But with medical care, a carefully managed diet, and supplements, Rio is now thriving—he’s even gained 1½ pounds and is doing fantastic with good, healthy poops!
To keep him this way, Rio needs a consistent diet (about $130 /16.5 lbs bag Fortiflora, and B12. Because of these special needs, BTRNT knows Rio’s adopter must be someone committed to giving him the care he deserves. To help him find that perfect match, his adoption fee will be waived—instead, we’ll ask for a donation. Applications will be carefully screened to ensure his future family can keep him healthy, happy, and loved.
Rio is a one-of-a-kind boy—a snuggly, joyful, silly, absolutely lovable little Frenchie who just needs a family willing to embrace his special care. Whoever adopts him will gain not only a pup, but a devoted best friend and constant source of joy. 💙
