A little heads-up for our online booking clients! 🩵

We’re adding another groomer to our Classy Tails family, which means we’ll now have Jen, Jenica, AND Jennifer! Yes, you read that right! 😆

If you have a particular groomer you prefer, please double-check the name you’re selecting when scheduling online. We want to make sure you’re booking with the person you intended!

We’ll have more to share about our newest team member soon! 🐾

🐾 Meet the Team: Anne! 🩵

We’re excited to introduce another member of our Classy Tails team, Anne!

Anne is a student at Tolles Career & Technical Center, where she’s studying Pre-Vet Tech. She’s grown up around animals and plans to continue her education after graduation to become a veterinary technician.

She’s been involved in 4-H since the third grade and currently serves on the Junior Fair Board. She also stays busy with marching band, where she plays the baritone, and drama club!

Here at Classy Tails, Anne has been a wonderful addition to our team! She’s dependable, loves a good routine, and has a way of noticing what needs to be done before we even have to ask. We certainly appreciate that about her!

When she’s not busy with school or work, Anne enjoys reading, hiking, listening to music, and watching movies with her family.

We’re happy to be part of Anne’s journey into veterinary medicine! Her time with us gives her the opportunity to learn more about animal handling, canine body language, and healthy skin and coat care, all valuable knowledge she can carry into her future career.

We’re lucky to have her on our team! 🩵🐾

🍂 A little reminder as the temperatures start dropping!

Every fall, we notice an increase in fleas on dogs. Groomers and veterinary professionals see this regularly this time of year.

As temperatures drop, fleas continue looking for warm-blooded hosts. Once they find their way onto our pets and into our warm, cozy homes, they can survive and reproduce throughout the winter.

Even primarily indoor pets are not necessarily safe from fleas!

If you’re thinking about stopping flea prevention for the season, we encourage you to speak with your veterinarian first.

Year-round flea prevention can save your pets a lot of discomfort and help keep your home flea-free! 🩵🐾

🐾 Meet the Groomer: Raegan! 🩵

We’re excited to introduce another incredibly talented member of the Classy Tails family, Raegan!

With nearly 8 years of grooming experience, Raegan brings an impressive combination of skill, confidence, creativity, and compassion to our salon. She also serves as our Assistant Manager, helping lead and support our growing team alongside owners Chelsea and Jen.

Raegan is one of those people who seems to have a natural gift for what she does. She’s hardworking, thoughtful, and has a wonderful eye for detail. Whether she’s creating a beautiful Poodle trim, hand-scissoring the perfect finishing touches, or giving a dog a complete makeover, her talent really shines through.

But there’s so much more to Raegan than her grooming skills. She has a huge heart for animals, especially those who need a little extra patience. One of her favorite parts of grooming is watching a shy or anxious dog gradually begin to trust her and become comfortable with the process. Those little moments of progress mean just as much to her as a beautiful finished groom.

She’s also someone who genuinely enjoys sharing her knowledge and helping others grow. Her kindness, strong work ethic, and natural leadership make her someone we’re proud to have helping guide our team.

When she’s not grooming, Raegan enjoys riding her two horses, hiking with her Dachshund, Buckley, spending time with family and friends, and catching a good concert. She’s also a big fan of audiobooks, especially while she’s working. And if you really want to know the way to her heart, coffee is a pretty good place to start! ☕️

Raegan is excited to be part of Classy Tails as we continue to grow, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have her talent, leadership, and kindness on our team.

Please help us give Raegan a warm Classy Tails welcome! 🩵🐾

🐾 Meet the Groomer: Jenica! 🩵

We’re excited to introduce another wonderful addition to the Classy Tails family, Jenica!

With about 7 years of grooming experience, Jenica brings a gentle touch, a calm presence, and a wonderful eye for creating adorable, beautifully finished grooms.

One of the things we love most about watching Jenica work is how naturally she connects with the dogs on her table. She has a quiet, patient approach that seems to put even the shyest and most anxious dogs at ease. There’s no rushing or fuss, just a soft voice, gentle hands, and a genuine love for what she does. And the finished results? Some seriously cute dogs! 🥰

Golden Retrievers, Poodles, and Doodles are among her favorites to groom, but it’s those nervous dogs who begin to relax and show a little more confidence that really make her day.

When she’s not making dogs look adorable, Jenica loves cooking up recipes of her own creation, baking, and spending time with her husband and their 2-year-old Great Pyrenees/Poodle mix, Wraith.

Jenica is excited to continue growing with the Classy Tails team and building relationships with our clients and their dogs.

We’re so happy to have her here and can’t wait for more of you to experience the wonderful care and talent she brings to our salon! 🩵🐾
