Match Dot Pup is a Wisconsin-based program specializing in AKC Australian Shepherd puppies raised with intentional socialization, curriculum-based development, temperament evaluations, and lifetime breeder support. Our focus is on raising well-rounded puppies through structured early experiences that build confidence, engagement, adaptability, and strong human connection. Puppies are introduced to enrichment activities, new environments, sounds, textures, handling exercises, and foundational training concepts beginning at an early age. Around 7–8 weeks of age, each puppy participates in temperament evaluations to help us better understand personality traits, confidence levels, energy, recovery, engagement, and lifestyle compatibility. This helps us thoughtfully match puppies with families based on their individual needs and goals. Select puppies may also be evaluated for service dog prospect potential depending on temperament and trainability traits. While not every puppy is suited for service work, our program emphasizes the foundational skills and exposures that support confident companion and working dogs alike. Our breeding dogs receive health testing appropriate for the Australian Shepherd breed, including OFA and genetic screening, to help support long-term health and responsible breeding practices. 🛁🐾 Up the Ramp, Into the Tub... and Back Again! 😂

Davis, Gable, and Monroe had another new skill to learn today—how to use the ramp leading into our new grooming tub!

The goal was simple: walk up the ramp, step into the tub, turn around, and head back down.

Once they figured it out, though, they decided it was a pretty fun game! 😂 Before long, they were running up and down the ramp like it was their own little playground!

I love introducing the puppies to grooming equipment before they actually need it. Giving them time to explore and become comfortable with something new helps make future experiences more familiar and positive.

And now, when it's time for their next bath, they'll already know how to get into the tub! 🛁💦

Of course, they haven't figured out yet that the next visit might involve shampoo and water! 🤣🐾

🐾😂 Hey Tim... Are Those Cupboards Done Yet?

Davis, Monroe, and Gable have a little message for Tim! 🐶🐶🐶

"Hey Tim! Could you hurry up and finish installing those drawers, cupboard doors, and countertops?

We're getting tired of having to look this cute popping out of the tops of the cupboards! 😂

Besides, Lori has a whole bunch of kennel supplies waiting to be organized, and she can't put everything away until you're finished!" 🤣

Apparently, the puppies have decided to become the official supervisors of our kennel construction project!

Three adorable faces popping up from three different cupboards... just making sure the work gets done! 🥰

Sorry, Tim! Looks like you've got a little extra pressure to finish the job! 🔨❤️

🎉🐾 Happy 13th Birthday, Charlie! 🎂❤️

A very happy birthday to our sweet Charlie, who turned 13 years young! 🥳🐶

Of course, we had to celebrate this special milestone with a birthday cookie and a couple of new chew sticks!

Charlie had two delicious flavors to choose from:
🥓 Maple Bacon
🥜 Peanut Butter

I laid them both down and let the birthday boy decide which one he wanted to enjoy first. And Charlie wasted no time making his choice! 😂

After 13 wonderful years, he certainly deserves to be spoiled a little extra! ❤️

💦🐾 New Waterer, New Skills!

The puppies have another new addition to their kennel area—a Lixit dog waterer! 💙

Instead of drinking from a traditional water bowl, they need to lick the spout to release the water. It takes a little figuring out, but these pups were quick learners! 🥰

I love introducing the puppies to different ways of doing everyday things. It's another opportunity to encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and confidence while learning a useful new skill.

And judging by this video, they've already figured out how to get a drink! 😂💦

Another little accomplishment for our growing puppies! 🐶❤️

🛁🐾 Indy's Spa Day Before the Babies Arrive! 💕

Our expecting momma Indy had the honor of being the very first dog to try out the new grooming tub! And I have to say, I'm loving this addition to our kennel! 🥰

Indy did wonderfully walking up the ramp and right into the tub. There's plenty of room for her to turn around, making bath time so much easier and more comfortable for her.

And for me? What a difference! I can stand up while bathing her, and the sprayer makes rinsing out all those soap suds so much easier! 🚿

Although, somehow, I still managed to get a bath myself! 😂💦 Apparently, staying dry wasn't part of the deal!

Now Indy is all fresh and clean, just in time for her puppies to arrive this week! 🐶❤️

With her due date of October 29th getting closer, the excitement is definitely building around here!

Our sweet momma is ready, and I can't wait to meet her little ones! 🥰🐾

🐾🚧 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work! ❤️

What a productive day! We worked hard today on the new dog run yard, and thanks to some wonderful family help, we finished one whole side! 🎉🐶

A huge thank you to my husband Tim, Jayme, Chris, Jen, Millie, Ellis, and Sutton for pitching in and helping us make so much progress!

There's still more work ahead, but seeing everything come together makes all those hours of hard work worthwhile. I'm so grateful to have family willing to lend a hand and be part of this project. ❤️

And of course, Davis had to get in on the action! 😂🐾 You'll spot her in one of the pictures showing everyone just how fast those little legs can go! 💨

One step closer to having a wonderful outdoor space for our dogs and puppies to enjoy!

🐾❤️ Garland Is Winning Charlie Over! 🥰

If you've been following along, you know that Charlie, at almost 13 years old, isn't exactly interested in playing with puppies. He's perfectly happy enjoying his peace and quiet!

But apparently, Garland has been working her charm on him! 😂💕

She's slowly wearing down our sweet senior boy, and I caught a pretty special moment between the two.

Charlie actually shared the bone he was chewing on with Garland! 🦴❤️

Now, that's a big deal coming from Charlie!

I love watching these little interactions. Charlie plays an important role in teaching the puppies to respect an older dog's boundaries, and it's sweet to see him becoming more comfortable with Garland.

Who knows? Maybe she's found the way to his heart! 🥰🐾

🍂✨ A Little Magic Is on the Way! ✨🍂

We have some exciting news to share! Indy and Gilbert are expecting! 🐾💕

Indy is doing wonderful, and we're looking forward to welcoming their puppies around October 29th, with a tentative go-home date of December 24th. 🎄

And as for the litter theme... let's just say there may be a few little clues hidden in this picture! 🍄🍁✨

🐾🚪 Last Up... Garland! 💕

Garland is the last of our puppies to try out the new swinging dog doors, and she needed a little extra encouragement to give them a try! 🥰

With supper waiting on the other side, she worked up the courage to push through... well, at least halfway! 😂

Apparently, I needed to move the food bowl a little farther forward to convince her to finish the trip!

These little training sessions are all about patience, encouragement, and allowing puppies to figure things out at their own pace.

Sometimes progress comes one paw at a time... or halfway through a dog door! 🤣🐾

Way to go, Garland! 💙

🐾🚪 Next Up... Davis! 💕

It's Davis's turn to try out our new swinging dog doors, and this girl didn't waste any time! 😂

She was quick to head outside and seemed ready to tackle this new challenge!

Learning to navigate something unfamiliar is another opportunity to build confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills. I love watching the puppies discover new things and develop skills they'll use throughout their lives.

Way to go, Davis! Another new experience under your belt! 💙🐾
