Match Dot Pup is a Wisconsin-based program specializing in AKC Australian Shepherd puppies raised with intentional socialization, curriculum-based development, temperament evaluations, and lifetime breeder support. Our focus is on raising well-rounded puppies through structured early experiences that build confidence, engagement, adaptability, and strong human connection. Puppies are introduced to
enrichment activities, new environments, sounds, textures, handling exercises, and foundational training concepts beginning at an early age. Around 7–8 weeks of age, each puppy participates in temperament evaluations to help us better understand personality traits, confidence levels, energy, recovery, engagement, and lifestyle compatibility. This helps us thoughtfully match puppies with families based on their individual needs and goals. Select puppies may also be evaluated for service dog prospect potential depending on temperament and trainability traits. While not every puppy is suited for service work, our program emphasizes the foundational skills and exposures that support confident companion and working dogs alike. Our breeding dogs receive health testing appropriate for the Australian Shepherd breed, including OFA and genetic screening, to help support long-term health and responsible breeding practices.
