✨PEOPLE OF PETAGOGY✨:

we're super excited to kick off the first People of Petagogy 2026 with our new grooming manager - Dakota! 💁🏼‍♀️✂️

just like most of our awesome staff - Dakota was a customer turned employee! 😁 she started at Petagogy in August 2025, working between both our North & South Hills locations! 🏃🏼‍♀️ she has been grooming since 2017! 🐩

Dakota currently has a terrier mix named Oscar 🐕, a boxer mix named Fiona 🐶, and a rabbit named Ziggy 🐰. she also recently fostered a pair of bunnies for , Chatine & Alouette (who you may have seen at the stores!) who were recently adopted! 🥳

Oscar & Ziggy love their for long lasting meal times! Dakota also likes to give them Potent-Sea for environmentally friendly omega-3's! 🌊 her bunnies also love to use the Hide & Seek mat to forge for their food and treats! 🥕

Dakota's favorite part about working at Petagogy is having the opportunity to work with such amazing people in the pet industry. 🥰. she also enjoys educating clients on how to maintain healthy skin & coat conditions, as well as enrichment for their dogs, cats or small animals!

in her non-work times, Dakota enjoys going on hikes with her pups ⛰️, boxing 🥊, and going to concerts! 👩🏼‍🎤

We're already thinking about Valentine's Day! I am about to turn these fresh strawberries into strawberry purée for Valentine biscuits. Make sure to read to the end for some exciting news about 2026.
I don't make any new decorated cookies in December so in January Petagogy East Liberty and Greensburg will be having a clearance sale on leftover decorated biscuits from the last couple months.
Starting in February for Valentine's Day, Biskit's Barkery decorated cookies will be available at all five Petagogy locations! As you may know, I am one person doing baking dog treats in my own kitchen and I work full-time at Petagogy. I've thought about this a lot since Petagogy acquired Healthy Pet Products taking us from two locations to five. I'm going to give it a try and see how it goes. 🐾🐾
