Founded in 1996, Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic has long been a center for premium veterinary care on the beautiful Central Coast. As one of the only American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) certified clinics in San Luis Obispo county, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine. Over the years, we have expanded our services and facilities to meet the ever changing

demands of veterinary medicine. We offer abdominal ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, a house call service, and in-house laboratory, and have expanded our staffing to provide more appointment availability. We are open seven days a week to help better serve our clients and animal friends!

Every year, Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic closes for the Pismo Beach Car Show weekend, and while we miss seeing our patients for a weekend, we always make the most of it!

This annual tradition gives our team the opportunity to come together for staff training, sharpen our skills, learn new things, and continue growing as veterinary professionals. After a day of learning, we take some time to relax, reconnect, and enjoy a little fun together as a team.

We genuinely look forward to this tradition every year. It reminds us how fortunate we are to work alongside such an incredible group of people. We truly have the best team around, and spending this time together leaves us refreshed, re-energized, and ready to continue providing the exceptional care our patients and clients deserve.

Thank you for your understanding while we're closed, and thank you for trusting us with your pets. We can't wait to see you again soon!

We will be closed on Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day and Saturday, May 30th, and Sunday, May 31st for the annual Pismo Car Show!

April's Pets of the Month are Moose and Niko!

Moose and Niko are 7 year old border collie twins! They're litter mates and have lived together their whole lives 🐶🐶

Fun fact, border collies come from the border of Scotland and England--which is how they got their name--and are widely considered to be the smartest breed of dog!

Our March Pet of the Month is Luna!

Luna is a 14 year old Chihuahua mix whose favorite thing to do is taking a nap out in the sun ☀ She dressed to the nines for her recent visit with us, and we think pink is definitely her color!

Fun fact, Chihuahuas are the smallest breed of dog in the world!
