Please Welcome Our New Veterinarian! 🥳🥳(now we have two!) ❤

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Reyes to our veterinary team! With a passion for compassionate, high-quality patient care, Dr. Reyes is looking forward to getting to know you and your pets.

About:

Dr. Reyes was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He earned his bachelor's degree in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly), before pursuing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University. He completed his clinical training at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!).

Dr. Reyes's professional interests include cardiology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. He enjoys working through challenging medical cases and believes that every patient deserves compassionate, individualized care. He is also passionate about practicing Fear Free principles whenever possible, striving to reduce stress and anxiety for pets while making veterinary visits a more positive experience for both animals and their families.

After falling in love with the Central Coast during his years at Cal Poly, Dr. Reyes was excited to return and make the area his home. Outside the hospital, he enjoys hiking, surf fishing, w**e tasting, playing soccer, and beach volleyball. When he's not exploring the outdoors, you'll likely find him relaxing at home with his wife, son, and their dogs.
...

Please join us in giving Dr. Reyes a warm welcome to the clinic! 💙🐶🐱
